Epix300Upstart payweb EPIX has branched into online, hatching a new service that will allow subscribers to watch on their  computers through a subscriber authentication system. EpixHD.com is now available to Cox Communications and Mediacom Communications customers, and will introduce authentication with Charter Communications next month. The movie lineup includes Star Trek, Shutter Island, Precious and Tyler Perry’s I Can Do Bad All By Myself.
