HBO just picked up its flagship drama True Blood for a 12-episode fourth season two episodes into Season 3. Ratings for last night’s second episode are not available yet but the season premiere averaged 5.1 million viewers, a 38% increase from the season 2 opener.

True Blood has turned into one of the best shows on tv. Anna Paquin deserved the Golden Globe she won.
I raved about her the first season. But I never ended up rewatching it. In the second season, it was more of the same from her. Her acting is rather two dimensional. Reminds me of her turn in Xmen.
I’d like to shake the hand of the writer that came up with “I found a baby armadillo by the side of the road, and I nursed it, and
now he lives under my bed, and his name is Felix.” Thank you for making my friends and I laugh out loud.
The armadillo thing makes me want to marry him!
Ha, me too!
So far, this season is very well written. It’s certainly better than the Maryann Storyline last season
Fang you very much!!!!!!!!!!!
Having godric and Eric as Nazis in WW2 -brilliant.
Last season was terrible. This season is terrific so far. Writing is stellar.
I actually really liked last season. Though to be fair I’m a big fan of Michelle Forbes. She always brings it when she’s on screen. Season Two must not have been that bad, it sold very well on DVD if this site is to be believed (which I think it is).
I wouldn’t go as far as saying last season was terrible…but I did not really enjoy how they finished Maryanne’s story. Thus far Season 3 has me really excited! Sunday night HBO kicks ass.
Yay- I look forward to this show and Treme every week!
“SOOKIE!” (Sookie imitating bill)
“I never killed anyone unintentionally…” TERRY
“Armadillo named Felix…” TERRY
“Excuse while I go drain the next course…bring me that Thai boy.” MISSISSIPPI PLAYBOY
“Hooker pls…” LAFAYETTE
So looking forward to next week.
The most Exciting, engrossing show on TV.
Hopefully Emmys show it SOME love this year.
With TRUE BLOOD and GOOD WIFE drama shows have become entertaining again.
Let’s Hope Alan Ball doesn’t pull the plug after season 5 like he did with SIX FEET UNDER.
Soft porn sells. Big surprise.
Natasha Alam! Gonna be huge!
So far the stand out performance this season for me is Nelsan Ellis’s Lafayette – brilliant
Loved season one, couldn’t finish season two but I aim to before checking out Three. Good news about a renewal for another season for everone involved.
I really did enjoy last season and was expecting so much more from the opening of this one. Am I the only one disappointed? Seems like the show is now focusing more on the “B” story characters, which is great….we shall see how the werewolf thing pans out, and, no, I have not read the books.
Eric Northman is soooooo sexy. I really can’t wait till Sookie nd Eric start getting together!!
I love vampire pictures! I love TRUE BLOOD! It is a great Show! I hope to one day be on that show!I’m so ready to see S4!
