Trying to figure out what was so “hot” about it.
Yes, I agree I’m trying to feel the suspense here. Not happening.
It’s a marketing move. it just got free publicity.
that is bone-chilling stuff. can’t wait to see…
it;s always hard to judge by a trailer but it does appear to be scary, very scary, so it;s be Afraid Time all over again!
NOW that is a TEASER
everyone in my IMAX theater screamed
I thought they were screaming at Taylor’s ABS
as I looked up
I saw the baby’s reflection in the mirror but
the baby wasn’t in the crib
awww clever…
this one will be a beast when it opens OCT
judging from the twi-hards screaming & applauding
kudos to the marketing dept
If it’s anything like the first one I will pass…
80 minutes of going nowhere ending in a huh. that’s it, moment.
Nice mood for the trailer. I do not understand how they can sustain the tension of the first film in a sequel, especially with the wife coming back.
But the trailer is a fine editing job, bravo!!!
Is this the same couple from the 1st one? When did the baby and the dog come in? Or a new couple? OO{S! Now I’ve got to go see it!
The first one scared me so much that just that opening clip of the movie got my heart beating fast again.
There is no way this will work again.
Paranormal Activity II: The Heretic
yaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwnnnnnnnnnn
Was that bigfoot standing there? Just asking.
Blair Witch 2???
That kid is going to need years of therapy.
The first one was so BORING!! I could not believe that made so much money…crazy. Props to the publicity department on that one. It was a crap fest of a film.
Anyone remember a movie called ‘Blair Witch Project’? And remember the sequel there? These types of phenomenon films can not be recreated in a sequel, although it will most likely have a successful opening weekend.
blair witch did not keep momentum the way PA did, and the sequel was completely different. looks like with PA2 they’re playing it smart by rehashing the old tricks w/a couple new ones, i.e. a barking dog.
Honesly, as much as some can dog the first one… it scared me. I live in LA and have been woken up in the middle of the night during an earthquake and the first thing that goes through my head is a demon is making my room shake…
I agree this trailer was NOT scary enough. I was just hoping I wouldn’t see the dog get hurt. I’m sure it will in the movie though.
boring first movie. boring sequel. where’s the exorcist? where’s rosemary’s baby? the shining?
bad move reminding of the first one’s gay Spielberg-dictated ending
The most over-hyped and over-rated film since Blair Witch (which also sucked). Pass.
The first P.A. was a materfully edited horror film, heavy on understatement and truly chilling. It was effective in large part because of its unresolved ending — the audience was left with one big, terrible mystery. It did not lend itself to a sequel, but since P.A. 1 made way more money than anyone anticipated, a sequel was inevitable. I also fear it will be unwatchable. What a shame.
Unsolved Mysteries ghost specials are far scarier than this crap fest… I’m all about making more ghost movies. Just wish they were done better… I wanna be scared, not picking apart the lame story the whole way through.
The first movie was a BORE. I wouldn’t expect much more from the sequel, but will never know ……
Fool me once, shame on you ….
Fool me twice, shame on me, for paying you my hard earned money for a cheap second rate attempt at Blair Witch Project. If Steven Spielberg had to leave during the first, it was because he was embarrassed by this piece of crap.
Snoozy O’Snoozefest
bored. over it.
