The cast of MTV’s Jersey Shore has become the go-to bunch for movie spoofs. After doing parodies of the Oscar-nominated films on Lopez Tonight earlier this year, they took on the hit movie franchise on Jimmy Kimmel Live‘s Twilight-themed special last night. Ughhh. Two pop culture fads that have both overstayed their welcome and are awaiting the ticking time bomb that is their fifteen minutes of fame. It’s time for both of these to die out.
Kimmel should go away. His ratings are still in the toilet, even after all the cherry picked love ABC has been showing him as of late with these specials. He’s SO played out.
C’mon people! Not every talk show has to run 30 years! He SUCKS!!
Kimmel will never be able to say his show bomb due to no network support. They should take a chance and bring in a new face like a louis ck type, someone that is consistently funny , if the joke fails they can keep going. Also, he just rips off other shows now, he should give Nbc a cut for all the leno/conan things he has stolen.

Kimmel is much better than Letterman, Leno, Ferguson, etc. I don’t get why he isn’t more popular. Leno has never been funny, Letterman hasn’t been funny for 20 years and Conan hasn’t been funny since Andy Richter left the first time. Ferguson is just terrible, that show would have been much better with Michael Ian Black as the host.
This is horrible.
I watched the entire broadcast. The Jersey Shore stuff was just stupid. They spent way too much time on that crap and interview Kristen, Taylor and Rob ad nauseum and not enough time talking with the rest of the cast. Totally blew off a lot of them. We see gazillions of interviews with the “3″ and not enough with the others.
I’m begging everyone and anyone with a camera to stop putting it in front of the Jersey Shore cast. Maybe then they’ll go away.
