UPDATE: Kevin Spacey Drama Still In Play

A new drama TV project that has Kevin Spacey attached to star as a charismatic cult leader has been stirring interest in the marketplace. So far, the project targeted for cable has not yet landed. Supposedly, there’s some interest from HBO, Showtime, Starz and FX. On TV, Spacey most recently starred in the HBO movie Recount.

Spacey? I thought he WAS a cult leader. These new projects for cable are coming hot and heavy and they all mostly sound great.

How about we sacrifice both Spacey and Lurie to the movie gods in hopes that PTA can finally go into production with “The Master.”

What the hey? Kevin Spacey’s involvement in any enterprise legitimates it, promises quality of performances as unique as he is. I suggest the working title be “F-Off”.
