Breaking Bad and LOST were tied. Very interesting. Might be good news for LOST’s Emmy hopes.
Glee as “Program of the Year”? Really???
Glee has some great moments and I appreciate that it is a very unique show – but Program of the Year? No.
I expect this kind of blind adulation from the Golden Globes and, to some extent, the Emmy Awards, but from the TCA? That is a shame.
In 2007, The TCA’s named Heroes Program of the Year.
Anonymous Coward indeed. Hey, guess what, pal? Your opinion isn’t the only one that exists. When you find that popular opinion no longer reflects your own, it probably means you’re getting old.
Something cannot be “very unique.” Unique means one of a kind.
Great comment by jack. This series will burn out just as fast. I read where the producers have decided to go to 5musical numbers, which are great to watch most of the time, even brilliant, from 11 at the end of the season. The show did not catch fire until they jammed it with music videos. Why you say, because it is painful to watch the cringe inducing scenes where the cast has to act. I would have given comedy performer award to the entire cast of Modern Family.
James Garner…whatta Career!
I applaud these decisions. “Glee” has got to be one of the most creative things on television in years. Julianna Margulies is very deserving of her award. This role has finally given her a chance to show her skill in a good role before a national audience.
Does Julianna Marguiles have incriminating pictures on some powerful people?
She is incredibly bland and her show is nothing at all special and yet she is winning nearly every award in sight. How absurd. Outstanding individual achievement in drama?? Over Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul? Jon Hamm? Katey Sagal? Michael C Hall and John Lithgow? Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton? Glenn Close? Absurd.
I am with you. She is so bland. A deer in the headlights for an entire show. Nothing behind her eyes. What is the deal?
I hope Jane Lynch wins every award she’s nominated for, I’ve been a fan of hers for years. Watch her in those flicks she made for Chris Guest, she’s brilliant.
Wow so you don’t get GLEE but Millions do and obviously so do some journalists. Accept it. Every show is not for everyone. Glee Bashing is getting really old and points to fanboy mentality..”We don’t like it and everyone else must agree with us right RIGHT?!!” geez…
YEARS ago, Jane Lynch starred in local commercials here in Portland, Oregon. She was a hoot then, and I am so happy to see her getting national recognition now!
Glee is painful!! The emperor’s naked!!
Glee was outstanding and near flawless for the first half season, but when it returned the stories were sacrificed for popular songs that didn’t fit, and the pillsbury romance was wasted as a storyline.. Only one of three episodes achieved the glory of the first half. Come on glee, story first!
Glee rules. Great acting, fantastic writing, amazing music composition and arrangement and true talent from an incredibly well put together cast. Lynch being chief among them. She’s a powerhouse and deserves accolades for her performance of the salty Sue Sylvester. I’ll freely admit, I’m a Gleeb.
What is the dif between a Gleek and a Gleeb? LOL! And has anyone seen the real life Glee – Men Aloud? Oh I love love love them.
Nice to see James Garner getting some well deserved credit.
