Are they cutting out the “Nice (bleeping) model!” from Beetlejuice?
Where can we find out more info about showtimes?
For the past several years, BAFTA/LA has run a theater in Helen Keller Park. This effort began to revitalize the park, and it is now a safe and valuable part of the community. I had the joy of volunteering for the Holiday Party held last year in Helen Keller Park.
Being a member of BAFTA/LA has many benefits, but personally, I am most proud of what BAFTA/LA has done within the community to enhance lives through films.
Kudos to Warner Bros., the various organizations and the people of LA for making this so very cool!
I can’t believe I missed TMNT!
Ihave worked as a teacher for 21 yearsn the last five being in the Athens area of South LA. BAFTALA has done a great job by being a real presence in the communitym. They don’t just show up to take pictures. Katy Haber, the Education Co-chair practically lives at my high school Washington Prep. She has brought great entertainment professionals to my classrom where they have injected an energy that can only be matched by the Sun itself.
Where do I find the list of where and when they are screening these?
