  • Excuse me for being too negative. I don’t really watch Mad Men, but your declaration that a show will “dethrone” it simply because of the great names attached is a bit premature. Read the script, people. It’s all about the writing, and that is where this show (the pilot, at least) falls short.

    • Jacks right. If the show is so bad, then how come it was a stand out at the LA screenings. I mean representatives from several stations all over the world were fawning over the pilot.

• Best hbo series since the wire, please don’t have me waiting to long for season 2 to start. Martin is one of the greatest directors/producers ever and his work never let’s ms down.
