Spoiler Alerts! Spoiler Alerts! Ryan Murphy confirmed at Comic-Con that Glee will have a “Rocky Horror” episode next season. Kurt will get a boyfriend — and Murphy plans for them to be Prom King and King. Another upcoming episode will feature a religious theme with Mercedes singing in church and bringing Kurt along with her. Tina and Mike Chang will be dating when the show returns. Tina will not be dating Artie. And I sincerely hope all this means something to you Gleeks…

Prom King and King in OHIO are you serious? I know Ryan Murphy is living out his teen fantasies through Kurt but seriously that’s a ridiculous show premise
Get over yourself.
I agree with you Josh
What is Glee to do with comics or Sci-Fi?
Believe me, a lot of things that are at Comic-Con no longer pertain to comics or sci-fi. They had the cast of Community there.
Jayma Mays’ (Emma Pillsbury) audition song was “Touch-A, Touch-A, Touch Me”…I guess the virgin won’t be so virginal in this ep.
Is the whole Glee thing not over yet? I thought they were getting triter by the minute but now they’re just moving at warp speed. I guess you give ‘em what they want until they get cavities and move on to something else.
Pay attention to the real world and step out of your “inside the beltway” mentality. The show is about to break 5,000,000 – yes 5 million fans on Facebook and has one of the best PR machines around. They gave play-by-play updates of the forum today. People like this show because it makes them feel good. Learn a little before you make off-handed comments.
“people like this show because it makes them feel good”. Same LAME line can be used to explain Gleen Beck, Bill O’Reilly, etc. etc.. Glee was and is OVERRATED, honey. “Real World” is where not one single marrage equality act or proposition has been passed by voters. All the “kings and kings prom stunts” in the world cannot change that.
Doesn’t matter. A hit is a hit is a hit, regardless of your political affiliation (or bogus comparison).
Having the best PR machine has nothing to do with quality. And having a ton of fans doesn’t either. Millions of people watch Jersey Shore or WWE wrestling, but that don’t make it good.
The fans of the show drank the kool-aid and are still on a Glee-induced sugar high. More power to them. However, there is no denying that this show is on a fast track to becoming a shadow of what it once was. The first half of season one was brilliant compared to the sover-the-top and over-exposed second half. The only thing this show has going for it is the PR and marketing smokescreen, because when the smoke clears, all that is left is a steaming turd!
What a bunch of pessimists. No wonder Hollywood is failing miserably/ I feel very sorry for you.
This show is overrated. Watch Damages instead… on Direct TV.
yeah cause that’s a similar type of show??!
I have NO IDEA what any of this means since I don’t watch the show but these sound like big time spoilers for the next season so maybe you should put SPOILER ALERT in the title so no Gleeks get upset with you….
Hmm, Hollywood leftists doing church. Can’t wait.
What could go wrong?
You do realize that left-wingers go to church too, right?
Tina wasn’t dating Artie to begin with. They never officially got together. Tina/Artie are woefully undeveloped on the show.
As for the spoilers, whatever. I’ve learned with this show that any heartfelt moment can be turned into an over the top, ridiculous showpiece. I won’t get my hopes up for anything.
Yay! This story had one GLEE defender so far! That’s about all the show deserves. Once again, nice to see Ryan Murphy front and center even though…two other guys were the actual creators of GLEE. Now we get a ROCKY HORROR episode? Boy, that’s creative. Glad they aren’t finding every musical and gay stereotype that’s out there to…oh wait, never mind. I guess that can another episode where the possibility of character development, plot and narrative arc can take a backseat.
To the defender above: If your best defense of support is rooted in the number of fans on facebook….yeah, that says it all. The show initially had a great PR machine. If that little well oiled machine were still churning efficiently, I doubt the backlash would be as strong or growing. That probably rattles your “inside the (musical) beltway” perspective. If it doesn’t, then um…follow the advice you provided above? Maybe? That’s my best suggestion or else life in the little glee club closet is gonna get very lonely, fairly quickly.
While I will agree that using the number of Facebook fans to defend the quality of a show is absurd…is everyone forgetting that Glee nabbed an impressive 19 Emmy nominations for this award season???
Even though I’m not Glee’s biggest supporter, I have to say, the amount of work they put into it and the beautiful feel of the show is definitely worth the attention. Ofcourse Glee is going to get alot for attention for another season or so, because it’s new. After that, only the outcast kids who can relate to the strong message the show brings forth will remain. Who cares if Glee deserves the attention? As long as people get joy from the show, I don’t mind.
this show, while cute at moments, is probably the worst scripted hour on tv in the last ten years. a total MESS. And, by the way, Cold Case made a Rocky Horror Picture SHow-themed episode a couple of years ago. And it was excellent, as usual.
The Rocky Horror Show is a phenomenal show and I DONT THINK GLEE Should make a version of it. I really don’t think it will work. I’m not really a huge GLEE Fan but If they do this I would be watching to see if its good or not. But I WISH THEM THE BEST OF LUCK !
