The original = snorefest. Couldn’t get through it. I left my wife to watch it while I went in the office and I came back toward the end to see a cool shot with a head in a pool, which kinda made me want to go back and watch what I missed…but not really, because all evidence pointed to slow, boring shite.
I like my horror with actual horror. Or plot. Or character development. You know…SOMETHING.
Oh No! EMG and Overture screwed this one up! Peter Adee, what were you thinking????!!!! That soundtrack is awful. The German sales trailer was better. Perhaps someone should dust that one off and give it some consideration.
Even the TITLE is dumb. Christ.
Note to Lazy Americans:
Learn to enjoy and support good foreign films so Hollywood no longer has to cater to stupid people. Reading subtitles isn’t that hard!
Sheesh.
I loved the original and this trailer looks good to me.
And to all the, “they didn’t have to remake it” people, I feel your pain, but if the rubes in this country could sit and read subtitles, this could have been a hit at the local multiplexes across the country instead of only in cities where people actually use their brains.
The people in our country are morons and can’t digest foreign films. If they could, they’d score at the box office.
A few years ago I saw a French movie called “A Christmas Tale”. It was a great movie about a dysfunctional family. Better than any Hollywood take on that material. While in the theater people walked out in the first minutes because they didn’t know it was in French and had subtitles. That the review in the NY Times didn’t say anything about that. This was in an art house theater.
I weep for our country. We are the overweight blobs in the chairs on the spaceship in Wall E.
Morons won’t read. That’s why classics like the Let The Right One In get remade.
why would anyone see this? Honestly, if you have taste (which I assume you do) and you like this genre (which I assume you do), then FOR HEAVEN’S SAKE, see the original. Nothing is better!
That trailer is horrendous.
First off, the movie is awesome. I’ve seen it.
Second, to the mouth who bitched about ‘yet another vampire movie’, it’s way different than any vampire movie you’ve ever seen. No fangs, no ‘sexiness’, no bullshit.
Third, the original is different than the remake, and also extremely cool.
Fourth, that trailer is awesome, I don’t know what those earlier comment clowns have up their respective asses. Assholes bitch when too much is given away, and bitch harder when not enough is given away.
and MOST IMPORTANTLY…
Any jackass with fingers can post snarky comments on other people’s hard work. Everybody’s a fuggin critic until they MAKE something. Take all the energy you currently use jacking your keyboard knocking down other people’s achievements and make something of your own. It’s fucking hard, and it will humble you enough that you don’t spit up bile on other’s work so glibly. Punk motherfuckers.
And no I didn’t make the film or the trailer.
carnt wait to see it as french one vever screend in OZ.aslo withs grandson is lead actor gp kodi
I didn’t like some aspects of the original, so I’m diying to like this one.
The trailer is great, but the music doesn’t fit.
i seen the original, like you i thought it was slow yet effective, but i also thought it could have been done better by a different director, you have to remember that the actress playing the lead single handily stole the last film she was in “kick ass,”she was awesome,so lets see how she does.I’m kinda excited to see this version, because of her.
it will be a biger hit than 1st one /shot in U S A and codey is the best up &coming you star there is and only 14yrs old [his last 2 moves showed how good he is
