Fincher, Rudin, Sorkin… COUNT ME IN!
Rudin? Do you really think he “produced” this? Look at how many other projects he has going on and anyone with a brain can see there is no possible way he can really be producing them. He pushes his way in and takes credit for all the work done by the other producers on the project. Has done it time and time again.
FINCHER! YEAH!
The book read like a screenplay and a very good one at that. Have to believe Sorkin and Fincher can make this work. The book was a total page turner with great characters spread throughout on both sides of the morality equation. Can’t believe Summers will be too pleased to see as he comes off as a total clown in the book. Count me in. Can’t wait to see what Fincher has done with the material.
Can someone tell me how Justin Timberlake continues to snag high profile roles with directors like David Fincher at the helm? Is it purely based off his SNL success that he’s still a working actor?
Face the facts:
EDISON – straight to DVD and never heard from again.
ALPHA DOG – financial failure (though I did like it, aside from his performance).
SOUTHLAND TALES – bomb.
BLACK SNAKE MOAN – bomb (though I did like it too).
SHREK 3 – its success had nothing to do with him.
THE LOVE GURU – atrocious bomb.
THE OPEN ROAD – direct to DVD (haven’t heard of it? yup, that’s my point).
Any other actor with that many bombs gets their walking paper. He’s vastly superior singer and entertainer, but who’s paying to see him act?
the script is so good the whole movie should just be a table read playing over facebook posts
Huh? What is this movie about? I like Facebook, too, but that trailer was really hard to fathom. Not a good sign, in my opinion!
