Holy christ this looks awful and awful in every possible way.
there’s a minute-thirty of my life i wish i had back.
and i love how they give away the plot in the trailer, but you have to buy a ticket to see zac efron shirtless.
what the hell is wrong with movies lately? and will anyone have the courage to fix it?
I’m surprised I really liked the trailer.
You really need to re-think what makes a trailer “hot.” First “Twelve”, now this. What’s next? The piping hot trailer for “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice”?
So dreamy….
Not that I was on pins and needles waiting for it, but nevertheless I’d like to thank the studio and trailer company for revealing every single story beat in just 2:30 and saving me the scratch at the movie theater.
Looks like a big pile of steaming bovine scatology
This is like a cheap imitation of “Ordinary People.”
Looks like a Lifetime movie of the week mingled with an afternoon special and slathered in pretty.
First he steers away from the teenyboppers with a barely-seen Orson Welles pic, and now back toward them with this tripe? Was this seriously the most attractive project on offer for Efron? The best script?
I applaud him for giving dramatic acting a try, but based on this (and the fact he chose this), it doesn’t look like he has much to offer yet.
And why do they insist on going forward with lame scripts? Because of the Twilight series? They don’t bother anymore as long as they cast a heartthrob?
He does his own stunts….did you see that windup?
Wow, did this just happen or did I dream it? Did they really give away the entirely film in the trailer?
I still like Efron. He is like young Tom Cruise. But he should seriously find more attractive projects.
It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a trailer which told me the entire plot of the movie. Guess someone doesn’t want me spending my hard-earned money on a ticket. Seeing as how they’ve also cast a female lead with the fresh appeal of a styrofoam cup left on the back porch all week, than they really don’t want me to see this film.
Just saw Inception and for some reason they played the trailer for this lifetime special before the show. The audience in the theater literally erupted in laughter. The giggling even trickled into the following trailer. It was not a male only crowd.
