• The naysayers here are patently ridiculous. The only problem I can discern is that people don’t immediately know what Sucker Punch is so they dismiss it out of hand.

  As crazy visually as all that is this is about tone and style and if you don’t find yourself intrigued I’d wager you have little understanding of genre.

  And we wonder why all we get are watered down remakes and adaptations from other media? People denying Snyder’s talent are silly.

• You people are dull-ass jerks. I suppose you like movies that lay there on the screen like your bored ex-girlfriends. Bunch of simple American retards. The same people who bitch and cry about Hollywood being all sequels and remakes.

  Let me tell you something. It was Snyder’s visual style that made 300 what it was. Period. If not for that it would have tanked like Troy, Kingdom of Heaven and other post-Gladiator movies of that time. Taking the futuristic, slow/fast style of the Matrix and applying it to a historical drama? It’s called VISIONARY.

  In Watchmen, Snyder actually *improved* on the Gibbons comic original, adding WAY more flourishes and action beats. That whole intro sequence with the death of the Comedian was only one or two pages in the comic. If Watchmen had been portrayed exactly like the comic, it would have looked like an episode of the 60s Batman TV show.

  This is Snyder’s 1st original concept, and I’ll be 1st in line with my money. All you morons can wait for the next sequel, remake or GCI kiddie fest from Pixar or DreamWorks.

  • I think this looks awesome! And those of you bitching about “fanboy fantasies” and say people won’t see chicks kicking ass… need I point out Kill Bill or Charlies Angels!?

    I agree with the above comment (with the exception that Snyder’s Watchmen was better than the graphic novel… I doubt even Snyder would make that claim)… and I will certainly be in line to see this… the rest of you… stay home and rent MILK again.
