Marvel Studios announced the signing schedule for its Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger films at Comic-Con in San Diego. On Saturday July 24th at the Marvel Booth (#2329):
11:15 AM-12:00 PM: Kenneth Branagh
12:30-1:30 PM: Chris Hemsworth & Tom Hiddleston
2:00-3:00 PM: Chris Evans & Hugo Weaving
3:30-4:30 PM: Joe Johnston
Each signing is a ticketed event and requires a specific ticket for that individual signing. Fans should come to the Marvel Booth (#2329) as soon the convention opens to the public on Saturday morning for a chance (no purchase necessary) to receive one of the limited number of signing tickets.

My heart would be AFLUTTER to be in the presence of Chris Evans. I wish I were going. Ah well. Here’s hoping that “Captain America” and “Thor” meet my high expectations. I just wish the studios would release the Comic Con footage officially on-line after the showing so the rest of the world can see. I mean, what’s there to hide, right? I hope that becomes a practice sometime soon. Should have happened years ago.
Years ago, I saw Kenneth Branagh in Henry V at Stratford-upon-Avon — and was thunderstruck by his performance. So much so, in fact, that I bought a souvenir poster in the gift shop because I was absolutely sure that I would hearing more about this guy, and I would have a chance to ask him to autograph the poster. And sure enough, when he went on tour to promote his film version of Henry V, I interviewed him — and he autographed my poster.
Which is a long, roundabout way of saying I ain’t looking down my nose at anybody who wants to grab his autograph at Comic Con.
But… But… If I try to get Kenneth’s autograph I will miss the Warner Brother panels. *Sigh* And so it starts…
