After hitting an all-time low last week, ABC’s original drama Rookie Blue (1.8 rating/6 share among adults 18-49) posted a 20 % ratings bump last night, hitting its highest number since the premiere. Its lead-out, ABC News Boston Med (1.2/4) at 10PM also stopped the bleeding, up 9%. Still, the highest-rated ABC show last night was a Wipeout rerun (2.0/7) at 8 PM.
Overall, CBS’ Big Brother (2.2/8), also at 8 PM, was the highest-rated program of the night, flat from last Thursday. CBS followed with repeats of CSI (1.2/4) and The Mentalist (1.4/4). NBC aired all-repeats, led by The Office (1.3/4). Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance (1.9/6) at 9 PM was down 5% from last week.
ABC finished the night at No.1 in adults 18-49 (1.6/7), edging CBS and Fox, which were tied for second place (1.5/6)
Meanwhile, Comedy Central’s Tosh.0 on Wednesday drew 2.7 million viewers, breaking the show’s recent audience record of 2.4 posted earlier this month.

Tosh.0 is really surprisingly good…. I just started watching it a couple weeks ago due to the ratings jump and I find myself laughing at least 2 or 3 times an episode- jokes are funny…
And it is such a low production value show- Daniel Tosh is going to be receiving some big bucks next season…
I embarrassingly agree. I’ve seen a few times and laugh-out-loud often. Silly, crude, offensive, lewd…yada, yada, yada, but self deprecating as well. The human race is a target rich environment when it comes to making fun so we should accept and get used to it.
Also, doctor’s recommend a few good laughs each day. It apparently does wonders for you. So, doesn’t matter how you get them (so long as don’t harm other folks*), just get a few each day to help reduce our spiraling health care costs.
* Sure, there may be some emotional harm to individuals portrayed on the show, but those videos are almost always already on youtube so the cats out of the bag.
I agree. This show has no right to be as funny as it is.
I too started watching midway after hearing how funny it is. It’s hilarious, I find it funny how he gets away with the racial humor.
I like Tosh too but I find it interesting that nobody has mentioned that it is basically just the latest incarnation of the Talk Soup/Mystery Science Theater 3000 schtick…
watched this show from day one. This dude might turn out to be one of the greats. Very few shows make me laugh as much. Something needed take the spotlight away from those stupid Jersey shore morons. Good to see real comedy getting out there.
I think one of the consistently funny shows anywhere on TV right now. The fact that Tosh doesn’t care about political correctness allows his comedy to penetrate as deeply as possible. {: )
Tosh.0 is hilarious, but doesn’t even come close to the hilarity and political incorrectness of his comedy central stand-up special
I’ve watched Tosh.0 from the beginning and it keeps getting funnier. If there isn’t something pushing some boundary somewhere, I feel like Tosh hasn’t done his job.
tosh.0 is good. i hate rookie blue though, its one of those shows that tries to proove that women could also be tough but it ends up the other way when their feelings get in the way and they let the bad guy run away.
