With teen pop star Justin Bieber’s telegenic looks and huge following, it was inevitable for Hollywood to come knocking. And now the Baby singer, who has done some skits on Saturday Night Live and, most recently, on MTV’s Movie Awards, is set to make his acting debut with an arc on CBS’ veteran crime drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. I bet millions of tween and teen girls are now asking their moms: What is CSI? Yes, the demographic of the CSI audience is decades older than Bieber’s army of fans, but the mothership series previously scored with the guest casting of another teen music superstar, Taylor Swift. Bieber will make his debut on CSI in the season premiere, playing “Jason McCann, a troubled teen who is faced with a terrible decision regarding his only brother—a decision that leads him into an explosive confrontation with the CSIs.” A bit too heavy for a first acting gig, eh? I bet a Justin Bieber movie is not far away.

Unfair. How he fits into CSI or any other TV show I don’t know but as far as his singing/vocal/dancing chops he really does have above average talent.

i love last years episode of csi i am a fifteen year old girl (i dont get why they said most 15 yr olds would be asking there parents what is csi ) but i think every1 should be given a chance justin has a kind of disney channel face i would neva expect him to be on csi but things can change i never expexted demi lovato to be on greys anotomy and she was and she played the part perfectaly i like justins songs but im not crazy bought him if he can sing about love he has neva felt and act like he is in love in his videos(never let you go)he surely can act.i am a singer i no how hard it is to sing about something u dont feel but u think of some1 or something important to u in ur life then u will certanaly get the part your acting, and if u cant do that then you must be a very unemotional person

I thought he made his debut a while ago. He was so-so on SNL. Tina Fey made it work, but he didn’t ruin it or anything (kinda like Timberlake’s better moments on the show).

It says many teen girls will be asking “What is CSI?” Not true for me! I love Justin Bieber and CSI, Criminal Minds, CSI NY, CSI Miami, and any other crime drama like that is basically all i watch. so i am so happy and thrilled to have Justin Drew Bieber appear on one of my favorite shows. Criminal Minds is my favorite so i desperately hope he will appear on Criminal Minds!!!!!!!

I love how people who hate Bieber write negative comments on articles and videos about him. That’s definitely the best way to show your hatred. I don’t really have any objections to Justin Bieber, even though I hate his songs, but I just can’t understand the marketing angle that these people are taking. Wouldn’t it be so much easier for them to stick Bieber in some random Disney sitcom and catapult it’s ratings instead of putting him in CSI, whose target audience probably has no idea who he is (I envy them)?

Bieber on csi? Am I the only 16-yo on the planet that thinks that’s a really bad idea? I have no dish with his singing, to each their own idea of what good music is, but the way he’s taken over the lives of teens like me is sickening.
