Allison Miller has become the second actor after Jason O’Mara cast in Fox’s upcoming adventure series Terra Nova. The project, produced by Steven Spielberg and Peter Chernin, follows an ordinary family from 2149 led by Jim Shannon (O’Mara) who are transported back 85 million years to prehistoric Earth where they join Terra Nova, a colony of humans with a second chance to build a civilization. Miller will play Skye.
Terra Nova was originally announced at the upfronts as a midseason replacement, but has been pushed to fall 2011 with a May preview to give more time for the elaborate production and post-production. The series is produced by 20th Century Fox TV, DreamWorks TV, Kapital Entertainment and Chernin Entertainment. Miller, who recently starred on NBC’s Kings and in the feature 17 Again, is repped by ICM and Thruline.

Allison,
Congrats. You deserve this and have put up with a lot to get to this point. Stay strong and keep your head up.
Thank you.
fantastic actress, gorgeous girl, great baker
Truly one of the most stunningly beautiful and talented actresses of her generation.
So I guess this means that humans WILL finally — as some insist already happened — co-exist with the dinosaurs that died off 65 million years ago. Wait. Maybe we are the new civilization that arose out of Terra Nova! Fail.
looking forward to this show – premise and cast are excellent.
Is anyone else starting to think that this show can never be sustainable with all the time, money, and effort being put in?
Only Robin Christopher should play SKYE!!!!!
you are a beautiful person on the inside and outside. We are all so proud of you and love you so much.
Great actress, beautiful girl
Ummm… Excuse me, but being a scientist, I can’t help but note that the story premise is factually incorrect. The first Hominids evolved only about 2.5 million years ago, not 85 million years ago! (There were barely primates at that point). But who cares? Maybe Allison (Skye) will figure it out during the plot and transport them to the right timeframe. Anyway, if the future of humanity looks like her, I’m all for it!
