UPDATED: ICM has signed actor clients including Emmy-winner Tony Shalhoub (Monk for 8 seasons) from CAA, Melissa George (In Treatment) from Paradigm, and Kieran Culkin (Scott Pilgrim vs the World) from WME. In addition, the agency signed away from UTA new motion picture lit clients Steven Rogers (Enchanted Inc, P.S. I Love You, Kate & Leopold) and Japanese horror movement pioneer Takashi Shimizu (English-language remakes of The Grudge 1 & 2). ICM’s International & Independent film department is packaging Shimizi’s next project Parasyte produced by Ozla Pictures, the Jim Henson Company, and Angry Films.
WME has signed Michael Patrick O’Brien, who is about to start his 2nd year as a writer for Saturday Night Live; Paul Iacono who stars as the title character in MTV’s highest-rated scripted show The Hard Times Of RJ Berger; indie film star and West Wing standout Allison Janney who is managed by Thruline Entertainment; Melina Kanakaredes who just finished a 6-year starring role in CSI:NY, Kerry Bishe, one of the stars of Ed Burns’ film Nice Guy Johnny and who last season was a new cast member on Scrubs; Luke Bracey, the male lead of Monte Carlo; Jane Goldman, who co-wrote Stardust, The Debt, and Kick-Ass and is currently writing on X-Men: First Class; Andrew Barrer & Gabe Ferrari, whose screenplay Die In A Gunfight is currently being developed with Zac Efron attached to star and Mark Gordon attached to produce; Ian Deitchman & Kristin Rusk Robinson who have Life As We Know It coming out this October from Warner Bros; W Kamau Bell, standup comedian whose one-man show “The W. Kamau Bell Curve: Ending Racism in Under an Hour” recently had an extended run off-Broadway; Rami Malek, whose recent performance as “Snafu” in HBO’s The Pacific led to him be cast in Tom Hanks’ Larry Crowne.
GERSH has signed film and TV actress Heather Graham. Also Kathryn Morris, Henry Ian Cusick (Lost), and writer/director Daryl Wein & Zoe Lister-Jones (Breaking Upwards) who sold their original comedy pitch And Motherf***cker off a logline Sunday night to Fox Searchlight.

Terrific actor! He can have his pick of projects – can’t wait to see what he does next.
HUGE NEWS – this is a WIN for ICM
Totally, Jeff… Berg?
Here’s hoping he gets the career that his friend Stanley is having.
I always find Ms. George to be a very underrated actress who never broke out. Maybe this is the change she needs but at the same time I doubt it :/
This actually isn’t a change for Melissa George at all. One of her team members from Paradigm, Andrew Rogers, left to ICM awhile back. Presumably he’s freaking out right now because his biggest client, Michael Cera, is watching his career nosedive and will probably jump to CAA pretty soon, so Rogers is now just going through the Rolodex and swiping the same actors from Paradigm whom he repped at Paradigm.
Efron still has a career? I’m sorry but ‘Die in a Gunfight’ was a terribly pretentious read. WME will swallow those two whole and spit them out.
Zoe Lister-Jones is genius.. The next Carey Mulligan.
Allison Janney needs a new agent, what happened to her?!
allison janney doesn’t stop working…not sure what you’re talking about.
i think gersh just reps zoe lister for writing…not acting? i thought uta repped her for acting?
Ian Dietchman and Kristin Rusk leaving Jordan and Matt is pathetic. They took them and sold so many mediocre scripts of theirs. They got there movie made and they show their loyalty by leaving them.
Zoe Lister-Jones is with UTA.
We also with UTA you need an edit button.
CAA has Shalhoub while his show is on the air, ICM gets him after the show is canceled? WME has Culkin while his movie is receiving great buzz, ICM gets him after the movie dies at the box office?
ICM has a solid roster of writers and directors but actors, not so much.
Add on a few more has-beens and unheard of actors to the Gersh roster. Congrats, guys!
what’s the lowdown on brit movie – some dogs bite – having its world premier at woodstock in oct. 2010
