Management firm Authentic has been quietly beefing up, taking new offices on Wilshire Blvd and La Brea. The firm recently added ex-Endeavor agent Craig Gartner and Framework’s Howard Green. The New York office has added Dara Gordon and Joh Morris, the latter of whom heads a new Career Development Coaching division. Gartner has brought clients that include Modern Family‘s Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Keesha Sharp and choreographer Danny Teeson, while Green brought Marcia Cross, Mireille Enos and Jay Karnes. Authentic is five years old and was founded by Jon Rubinstein, who just produced client Vera Farmiga’s directorial debut Higher Ground. The firm also reps Peter Sarsgaard, Jeremy Piven, Michael C. Hall, Tom Hiddleston and Robert Carlyle.

Good for Jon. He’s always had a great eye for spotting talent. Bob and Vikram are great too…smart and persistent but still nice guys too.
“a new Career Development Coaching division”…uhh, sounds like Landmark. No actor wants coaching. They just want good roles and job security.
Craig Gartner is a hottie!!!
Coaching division? Most of us need coaching. Mikkel Bondesen has the same thing at FUSE and it works for him. Question is does someone want to pay a coach 10% of there earnings for a coach. When your clients are making as much as say ex Mikkel client Josh Schwartz they usually smarten up and decide they don’t want or need a coach. Good luck looking forward to seeing how this division does.
Coaching division is totally separate from the division that deals with actors writers and directors, they don’t charge 10%, they charge a monthly feel, and they work with different kinds of clients who wouldn’t be management clients of the company.
They “charge a monthly feel”? Sounds awesome. I’m in.
The Landmark Forum is a scary, scary place.
Genius only the few know the inside joke on landmark forum.
howard green is smart, strategic and an excellent manager. great pairing of top notch mgmt firm and dedicated and salt of the earth green.
Egads, this Life Coaching stuff freaks clients out once they realize what is happening to them. It’s always presented like, “Hey, I just want to introduce you to so-and-so, who works here”, and then next thing you know it’s a bunch of random but invasive personal questions and fake, half-assed psychotherapy in the context of what should be a professional management relationship. It’s probably harmless but why anyone would pay 10% for it is beyond me. Oh well, gotta go get some advice from my optometrist about how to fix the plumbing in our hall bathroom.
“just produced” ? I am surprised managers don’t start costarring
this management firm has nothing to do with the landmark forum, for all of you haters out there tossing your hearsay about. jon is a really bright guy with great taste and he’s clearly an excellent leader. this company has a fantastic reputation and the people that work there are some of the nicest people i deal with. they also happen to have one of the most chic client lists in town. that’s more than i can say for most of the BS management firms out there. what someone does on their own time has nothing to do with anything. so for those of you who know not of what you speak, do the rest of us a favor and keep your mouths shut.
