EXCLUSIVE: Canadian actor Noah Reid has landed the lead in SyFy’s pilot Three Inches. The project, from Fox TV Studios and Landscape Entertainment, centers on Walter (Reid), a twentysomething underachiever who acquires a seemingly worthless superpower after getting struck by lightning: he can move any object three inches with his mind. He goes on to recruit a team of fellow heroes, each with their own less-than-spectacular abilities. Jace Alexander is set to direct the pilot from a script by Harley Peyton. Reid, who has appeared on a number of Canadian series, is repped by Toronto’s Gary Goddard Agency. Three Inches is one of two pilots SyFy has in the works, along with Alphas.

I guess nine inches would have been too much…
For a second I thought this was just the inverse of HBO’s “Hung.”
I wonder how it feels for a guy to be the face of something called Three Inches?
But seriously, he’s a talented actor.
Uh, isn’t this basically the movie Mystery Men, but without a funny cast?
Wow. I remember when he was on Strange Days at Blake Holsey High. Glad he’ still working!
They really should change the name of this. How many guys are going to want to tune in to watch something called “Three Inches”?!!!
Wouldn’t women be the ones unlikely to tune in? I can’t imagine (straight) men really care too much about the size of other guys’ penises.
Three Inches? Sounds like a bad date.
Must be my day for saving the world with brilliant titles. Call it “75 MM “-( 75 milllimeter ), means the same dam thing and doesn’t inspire as much laughter.
