ABC’s The Bachelorette capped a strong season with its highest-rated finale in 6 years. Last night’s two-hour closer drew 11.6 million viewers and a 3.7 rating/11 share among adults 18-49, up 6% from last summer’s finale and for the best finale numbers since 2004 when the reality series aired in-season and the finale was in February. Overall, this was Bachelorette‘s most watched season since 2004. The Bachelorette: After the Rose Ceremony special (3.8/11) was up 36% from last year when the special aired a day after the finale.
NBC’s Last Comic Standing (1.6/4) and Dateline (1.3/4) were down 6% and 24%, respectively, from last week. Fox’s Lie to Me (1.8/6) and The Good Guys (1.2/3) were up by 13% and 10%, respectively. CBS aired all repeats led by The Big Bang Theory (2.5/7). ABC easily won the night with a 3.7/11 and 11.5 million viewers.

This was a great finale and the first time i have seen this show. She made the right choice and a very emotional ending.
I’d seen maybe one or two seasons of the Bachelor years back (not a big television watcher); but this Bachelorette had me hooked from day one when I first happened to catch it. What a great series it was – far better than what I remembered The Bachelor being. Although Ali did not quite convince me she was 100% genuine (IMO a lot of crocodile tears and not the most genuine of emotions or actions on her part), I think she got a great guy at the end, sans the sweating which there is help for, and hopefully it works out for them.

Great show and great outcome!!!! Ali and Roberto make a beautiful couple. They appear to be very much in love. It doesn’t matter how or where you find love. What matters is what you do with it after you find it. Ali and Roberto remind me so much of my daughter and son-in-law.They met in line at the MV agency,he put a ring on her finger three months later. They were married one month after that. They have been happily married for seventeen years and have four beautiful daughters.Together,they built a flourishing real estate development company.To this day,my son-in-law shows nothing but love and respect for my daughter. Ali&Roberto,I wish this for you!
