Ryan Kavanaugh’s Relativity Media has put three more movies on its release calendar to be distributed and marketed by his own team. Relativity has set a March 4, 2011 release date for Kids in America, the Michael Dowse-directed coming of age film that stars Topher Grace as an MIT grad who tries to win the heart of his high school crush by creating a false identity. Anna Faris plays the object of his affection. Relativity has set March 18 for The Dark Fields, the Neil Burger-directed drama that stars Robert De Niro and Bradley Cooper. The third picture, The Warrior’s Way, will be released December 3 through a rent-a-system deal. Relativity’s release slate, which includes Fighter, Skyline, Catfish and My Soul To Take, adds the Overture trio Jack Goes Boating (September 17), Let Me In (October 1) and Stone, (October
which were inherited from its acquisition of Overture Films.

How long has “Kids in America” been finished?
around 2 yrs?
Since 2007, used to be “Young Americans”
Long enough to reflect an era where casting Dan Folger was considered a smart move.
Yes, THAT LONG AGO.
anna faris plays topher graces sister in the movie. Teresa Palmer is his love interest in it.
3 years I think…
I’ve seen Warrior’s Way, and it’s a cracking good movie. Danny Huston sublimely despicable, and the new Korean action star is great; terrific fight sequences, great visual style.
KIA has been “finished” for way too long. From what i’ve seen in this town, if it takes more than 1.5 years for a film to be released, it means it’s littered with problems and will most likely bomb. Warrior’s Way, while visually intriguing, is in the same boat.
Right now, at this very moment, there are more people reading this sentence than will see this horrible film. There is a reason it’s been on the shelf for 4 years…
Oh, and Anna Farris plays his sister, not the chick he is after.
These guys at Relativity are so JV…I was tipped by a friend that Ryan K. and Tucker Tooley insist that in the end credits of every film they put out that they get to thank their parents.brothers/sisters …etc…it’s totally embarrassing…like some sort of a student film but NOT.
IMHO an example of being both right and wrong. You’re right, it’s silly. You’re wrong in that they’re still here, making deals and making movies, and you are…?
Read the script for Dark Fields like 4 years ago when it was still in dev at Uni, pretty cool concept, excited to see what it looks like now.
What’s the half-life on 5 billion?
who is topher grace?
Topher Grace played Eric on 70s show and played Venom in Spiderman 3.
