Deadline Hollywood got a brief shout-out on the show last week. Tonight, we get a screenshot, and Carrie Fisher playing one of our reporters, and several moments integral to the storyline. I won’t give away more than that except to repeat Ari Gold’s complaint that: “Deadline Hollywood would run a story about me having a loose stool…” I think not.

Best part of the whole episode was the deadline part. The ending was great.
However, the rest of the show was utter rubbish. Why do I care about any of the characters except Ari. Turtle, E, Drama are all useless.
The show cannot finish fast enough. If anyone says the writing is great know that they now go to Porn stars and Anal sex for shock value. WOW, that really is very good writing.
I agree. The Bottom’s Up episode was the worst episode in the once stellar history of Entourage. To have the sweetest girl on TV, “Bambi, Sandra D” Sloan, feigning anal sex with “Opie” E, was utterly disgusting. I really wish I could’ve heard what those two great actors thought of that piece of shit script. That episode reached the series creative “Bottom.” There is no “UP” side. What happened to the smart, funny, exceptional story lines of years past???
The writing, or lack of it, is on the wall. Vince’s life and career crashes and burns with porn booty bandit Sasha. Eric loses his job and girl and Scott (CAA)n takes over the firm. Ari loses his job, reputation, wife and family. Turtle loses his job and girl when the tequila idea goes bust. Drama goes to jail by beating the crap out of the cartoon director, and they all head back home to Queens. THE END.
The post about them all ending up back in Queens is hilarious. But that’s a really sucky sad ending. HBO isn’t that cold hearted. Everything always comes together for those guys.
Good stuff. Something weird about our boys this season. There’s a really subtle dramatic undertone creeping up on us. You know I recall hearing that in the end Vince is going to end doing tv while drama ends up sky rocketing back into features. Eric and Sloane have a baby girl while Turtle gets into legal trouble after one of his ventures goes under investigation.
Well, I’m pretty much fired now. I consider this my Steven Slater moment. F it. I’ve been bustin my ass since season 1 and still no respect.

It had one decent season (Season 2), the rest are like watching an accountant get too drunk at a wedding and jump in the pool with his clothes on. He thinks he’s the funniest, coolest guy there, but really, everyone with half a brain is ridiculing him. Bad cast, horrible writing, wrong every step of the way.
That said, it is the only show on TV that I watch live. I can’t take my eyes off that trainwreck.
I’ve enjoyed this season so far. I think a lot of people in the industry don’t like Entourage because it depicts just how empty and vapid this town that many of us devote our entire lives to truly is.
This season has been one of the best thus far. The last season wasn’t too good, but this one is definitely picking up. I just hope that Vince doesn’t become a drug addict.
Jay, it can be an empty and vapid town, but I wouldn’t voluntarily live anywhere else. And I wouldn’t work in any other field.
Plenty of actors and writers manage to separate themselves from the LA lifestyle and lead happy, fulfilling lives. I know I have.
