Five years after they teamed to produce Beauty and the Geek, Ashton Kutcher & Jason Goldberg’s Katalyst and JD Roth & Todd A. Nelson’s 3 Ball Prods./Eyeworks USA have combined forces for another social experiment-type unscripted series featuring unlikely pairs, Forever Young. TV Land announced this morning that it has given a six-episode order to the reality competition based on an Eyeworks format, which teams septuagenarians with 20-somethings. “When separated by five decades, six wars and 10 presidents, Forever Young explores how revealing and how funny it can be when youth and wisdom join forces, whether in appreciation of the past, understanding the present or preparing for the future,” the producers said. Goldberg and Kutcher serve as executive producers for Katalyst; Roth and Nelson for 3 Ball ; Eliot Goldberg and Marco Bresaz for TV Land.

1:1 odds producers somehow create some sexual tension and chemistry on this show. Weird, but it will happen.
That being said we can learn a lot from our elders and if properly done this could do a lot for educating the contestants (which I’m sure will be very smart individuals) and the country at hand.
ONe of my favorite moments growing up was when I worked at a hotel my senior year and I sat in a room listening to WWII vets talking about what life was like. We are a lucky generation because of those who came before us. So in all seriousness, I hope this show tries to respect not exploit that.
I hope they have weird hook-ups.
+1 to that. It would be nice to know that it’s possible to produce reality TV that actually has some social value.
I became friends with one of the reality contestants, Arthur Albert, while living in New York City. For being 70+, he is one of the wisest, hippest and most fun-loving adults I know. His best advice to me about life: “Get in your rocket ship and drive!!” I hope the show zooms straight to the top, too.
I WAS THERE AT THE LUCKY CLUB WORKING DAY SHIFT, SECURITY WHEN THEY WERE FILMING. PERHAPS THE SWING SHIFT WILL GET THEIR 15 MINUTES OF FAME. ALL THAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD.
THE FILM CREW WAS VERY NICE. THE SHOW LOOKS INTERESTING, UNLIKE MOST B.S. SO CALLED REALITY SHOWS.
Louie Corlione is a star waiting to happen,,,again,,he was a former NFL #1 pick for the N.Y. Giants,,,,but his real charisma is a perfect joy to see !
