• Has there ever been a good show on BET? Is it even possible?

  • There’s never really been a scripted show on BET. The only thing I can think of is the animated series “Hey Monie,” which was actually pretty good. Their Punk’d/Blind Date hybrid, Hell Date, was actually pretty good, too.

      Reed Between the Lines sounds like The Cosby Show re-imaged. Good luck to them.

      If it goes, it won’t kill either of their careers…no one watches BET. Wait a minute, I guess this would signify their careers being over anyway so I guess it doesn’t matter.

• Wouldn’t it be great to see these pilots switch stations. Wilford goes to BET and “Reed” to F/X. Both shows have universal themes. Oh never mind lets keep segregation alive in TV land.

• If anyone can bring it to BET it is Robi Reed. She is a class act and bringing her to the network was a move forward for their original programming.

  Look at the stars that came out of “In Living Color.”
