A&E Network has picked up its drama series The Glades for a second season with a 13-episode order. The Fox TV Studios-produced series will start pre-production later this year for a 2011 premiere. Also launching in 2011 is A&E’s new drama Breakout Kings. Season-to-date, The Glades has averaged 3.2M total viewers per episode with 1.1M adults 18-49 to become A&E’s most-watched series. The Glades was created by Clifton Campbell, stars Matt Passmore, Kiele Sanchez, Carlos Gómez, and Michelle Hurd. Campbell and Gary Randall are executive producing.

Yeehah! Love this show-just live for it-it’s shot all over my old neighborhoods in Hollywood, Pompano Beach and Fort Lauderdale, Florida in some very kicky out of the way places. It’s neat, clever and delightfully eccentric, colorful, bright and hilarious and has Matt Passmore-what more could you want! Love it! Love it! Love it!

I love the show too! I love to watch for scenes I can Identify locations that normally are out of the way from tourist. I love mystery, romance and drama. Keep it coming. I look forward to the season premier.
Use to live in the Naples/Fort Myers area. My wife gets a kick out of seeing some of the out-of-the-way places we’ve been to in some of our explorations. What kick! The inter-action between the cast is great.

I’m from Puerto Rico and my sisters, daughter and I love this show, it’s one of the best and we really miss it. Please start airing it again and no more long breaks. It’s a great and funny show and all the stars are fabulous.

i think the show is awesome and should be new more than once a year like other shows do so we dont have to wait so long for the next season. Im 48 range so i guess i fit right in their. keep those two together they make a great pair!!!!

I looked forward each week for this nightly show.
I really liked this show the first season. But not any longer, I hate the relationship the writers are trying to make with Matt & Keily and the chief of police that dresses & acts like a hooker.
The only thing going for this show is the scenery, and the lone takes of Matt by himself, without the chief or Keily.

I love the Glades, it has become my favorite show of all times. I adore Matt Passsmore. He is a wonderful actor and I love the chemistry between he and Kiele. Please don’t ever take this show off the air, I don’t know what I would watch. Thank you

You have no ideal how happy I am. I absolutely love “The Glades”. It has a quirkiness that is reminiscent of “Northern Exposure”.The chemistry between the cast members brings it all together. Thank you, A & E.

I agree! 10:00pm is just a little too late, but I definitely make the effort to stay up or TIVO. Not to mention it would beat out any other 9pm show on the networks. I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this show.
I also agree that 10:00 is a little late. but hey, I tape it and watch when ever. so glad it is coming back. usually the good shows don’t last.

These days I do not find too many shows to watch. I stumbled on to Glads while scanning my 300 + channels. I have been stuck on the program since and look forward to Sunday night.
My husband and I love this show. It has humor, drama, suspense and the cast members play their part.
SO excited to hear that there will be a second season! Not so excited to hear that I have to wait until 2011 though. I love The Glades!

13 episodes is pretty much a ‘full’ season for some cable shows such as Warehouse 13, Sanctuary, Caprica, and a few others.

Like others, I enjoy Matt’s performances but for myself Kiele is the #1 draw. I don’t think I would be so taken with the show if it were not for Kiele. I would like to see her written in to more scenes with more chemistry between her and Matt. She is as HOT they get.
