NBC’s America’s Got Talent is joining the other top-tier talent competition series by launching a nationwide tour. I was actually surprised the show, which ranks as the highest-rated summer series, had not done it already: American Idol, Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance have all featured tours from the get-go. And Talent‘s British counterpart, Britain’s Got Talent, has had a companion tour too. The debut America’s Got Talent Live tour, which kicks off Oct. 1, will be hosted by Jerry Springer, a one-time host of the reality series. Starting a tour after Season 5 might be a bit late in the life of a reality series – turnout for Idol tours has been on decline and several dates had to be canceled this year. But Talent still is No.1 for the summer and its tour won’t overlap with the others, which should work to its advantage.

you have to be a diehard fan to go to those type of shows….and America’s got Talent didn’t have any one (except Gravity) that I would pay to see. Even Jackie Avenko is kind of strange.
Starting a tour Oct 1 ? It won’t be to long before most of the nation is dealing with all the shitty weather again, why not do this in the spring? Warmer weather is better for travel and for turnout. Anybody remember the snow blizzards last winter?
For those of you that think Jackie Avenko is quote “strange”well I wouldn’t call her strange but her voice is very unusual for a 10 yr old. She has a beautiful gift to offer the world and I support her 110% and more! She’s a very blessed little girl with a very special gift!!
I think Peirs Morgan could have influenced voters not to vote for prince poppycodk and I am very upset he did not win.
