EXCLUSIVE: Ok, this is not a Ghost Whisperer revival but probably the next best thing for the die-hard fans of the cancelled CBS drama – a possible new series with Ghost Whisperer star Jennifer Love Hewitt. I hear Fox is in talks to pick up the project, a half-hour comedy described as a female Big Bang Theory. Wild Hogs director Walt Becker and Tiffany Paulsen (Nancy Drew) will be writing the script with Hewitt attached to star. The project would reunite Hewitt with Fox where she got her break as co-star on Party of Five.
Becker, a feature writer-director whose credits also include Van Wilder and Old Dogs, is a relative newcomer to TV but scored big this spring with the period fraternity comedy pilot Glory Daze, which he directed and co-wrote with Michael LeSieur. TBS picked it up to series, which is slated to premiere later this year. Meanwhile, Hewitt displays her comedy chops in a guest stint on the pilot for NBC’s upcoming hourlong comedy series Love Bites. Her segment was screened at the network’s upfront presentation in May and did pretty well.

There are too many stories on this site about deals! I don’t care that Jennifer Love Hewitt made some stupid deal for a show. I want to know who she’s dating. I want hot pics of her. Same for Courtney Cox and Jennifer Aniston. I’m sick of coming to this site and reading about some producer or writer I never heard of, or some actor/actress and his/her big deal. How about more stuff about the personal lives of celebrities, specifically who’s in bed with whom?

Does anyone still want to watch anything with JLH in it? She’s had so much surgery, seems like a hasbeen.
I used to really like JLH & Ghost Whisperer until she lost her professional point of view. She was so busy putting her boyfriend front and center of EVERY SINGLE story, that she practically left David Conrad out of the show. Most people, including myself, loved the show partly because of the storyline, and (a large) partly because of what a wonderful character he played.
I stopped watching the show when she made him go into the light, so to speak. So did my sister-in-law, and my mother; it just wasn’t the same show. It lost a large part of its charm.
Roy, don’t know what your’re looking for, but did you see the rack on JLH in the photo above? OMG, what would Neve “Wild Things” Campbell make of her now?

The first post was obviously a joke — and a funny one. Is everyone on this site so tightassed that they can’t laugh at a little sly irony. He’s pointing out that this is the only site that doesn’t engage in useless celeb gossip. Humor, get it?

I read and re-read all of the posts pointing out Roy U.’s sense of humor/sarcasm, etc., and shaming everybody else for “not getting it.” I then read Roy U.’s post again. I have come to the conclusion that this site is most definitely for industry professionals, because clearly the defenders of Roy U. must be network comedy programming executives.
I love Roy U’s comments. Unlike DW, I know a pro when I see one. Roy U is obvious in the biz. Funny stuff!
