I’ve often wondered why William Fichtner isn’t a household name since his face is so recognizable and his acting is always memorable. He came over to Paradigm from Gersh. Fichtner recently wrapped filming on Summit’s Drive Angry 3D penned by Paradigm clients Patrick Lussier and Todd Farmer.
Editor-in-Chief Nikki Finke - tip her here.

His appearance in the Dark Knight set the tone. He’s come a long way from Wings. Class act always.
He is simply amazing in Go! He needs a Snake Plissken/Max Max role then he’ll break out. Give him all the stuff Paul Bettany is jacking up.
Talent oozing out of him AND the greatest guy ever.
Totally agree with you Nikki. A vastly underrated actor who always manages to elevate the projects he’s in. He and Kevin Dillon’s scenes were highlights of the otherwise benign, dialed-in past 2 seasons of Entourage.
William Fichtner is the busiest man in show biz!!! He is always great in everything he is in!
Truly one of my favorite actors. I hope this move leads to seeing William on screen more… hopefully more on the big screen than TV.
William Fichtner for The Riddler.
Note to Paradigm: find a way for the people in America to know this guy’s name. He is an incredible actor who has been in some of the biggest blockbuster movies and television shows and helped make them what they are.
He’s amazing, even in small roles. Agreed, Nikki, more people should know about him.
I love that guy. Whether he was the jack ass astronaut or the Amway selling cop with wildly homoerotic sales techniques. I figured he was one of those guys who loves acting and hates “star games”.
He was a rapist on “As The World Turns” who ended up a good guy, he was another big movie actor from the now cancelled soap.
Class act all the way —
He’ll have his own series very soon.
He needed a change. This guy is one of, if not the most underrated actor in town. He needs a role like Renner in Hurt Locker that can get him nominated for an Oscar. He’s got the chops
Not only is he a stirring compelling actor who always leaves his
mark in whatever he is in , he’s also crazy indie hot!
Van Zant! Where’s Waingro?
Used to work with Bill back in the day. Class act.
Amazing in all his roles and specifically I always noticed him since he killed it in contact!
Marvel should choose HIM to play Doctor Strange.
Get him cheap, then he gets the big name and movies he DESERVES.
that is all
He was phenomenal in Go.
Actor’s actor. Total committal. Did you see him in Date Night(?) Best durn thing in that movie.
He used to be at WMA with Joanne Wiles and Erwin More – does going to Paramount mean that he is back with Erwin More? Funny that he plays a-holes when the guy could nice be nicer. Smart too.
Paradigm, huh?
Hi,
A clearly under-rated talent, but recognised by those who matter in the range of roles he gets, much like Gary Cole. It’s so good Nikki’s pointed it out, a counter-note to the Diller comment.
I think it might have a bit to do with the lack of PR he does or interest in persuing.
Kind regards,
Shakir Razak
He’s also super-smart and into sci-fi, I first met him at the NASA JPL Open House, of all places. True to form, he quietly stood in line like everyone else while at least a dozen or so other people were working their iPhones and Berries trying to place a name with the face.
William Fichtner schould play the lead in the IDENTITY remake you announced. He would be just perfect for the role.
As for Fichtner not being a household name — millions of PRISON BREAK fans would disagree.
Fantastic actor, but doesnt have the pretty boy look for the star role on television. Has the talent to save a show from a supporting role.
This guy needs to start getting placed in supporting roles for serious work in order to start getting noticed more. I would love to see him get to a place where he gained moreserious roles. He has the talent to shine in a starring role.
Right now hes the guy you see in a show you say “oh, that guy”. Your happy he’s there, but cannot for the life of you remember what his name is.
I wrote a sci fi, that he needs to be in. I met him at starbucks in Glendale and wrote the part for him after talking to him. ha!
Was he nice? Someone else said they met him and that he was a d-bag
D-bag? Fichtner? No way! I ran into him once and he was a sweetheart. Crazy hot too!
