Yes, what the world needs so badly: another cop show!
Stop it! Please
Gag! Another cop show!! Please can someone create something other than police shows?
Yes, we’re all grateful for the real life women and men in blue, but for heaven’s sake, how many cop shows do we need on TV??? There must be 20 cop shows on all the networks right now.
Where the heck is the creativity? Haven’t we seen woman cop in a family of male cops storyline done already?
And, really, the great tragedy is that she’s part of internal affairs??? Sheesh!
I’m sure everyone involved is very talented but really, another cop show?
wow sarah. RELAX.
Just out of curiosity, is anyone sure that the Family Guy’s Peter Griffin didn’t come up with this show? This sounds like something Peter would create.
..Just sayin’…
Sarah, just because nobody wants to buy your script and the career that you imagined from your trailer park in Iowa hasn’t materialized is no reason to crap on somebody else’s script. It’s a very good script, by the way, not that you’d know one if you read one apparently.
God help the producers of this one – a whole season with TW will give them all grey hair. I will pray for you.
GO APA. Treat Williams and APA. The new Television Fund Home Agency for the obsolete!!! Ryan Smartin must be out partying with the 21 year olds at Trousdale tonight….if he can even get in! Go Smartin!!!!
Schiff Co. Schifty Shiff the squirmiest of them all. Has Jeff Bridges G-o only knows how or why. Good work Schifty Schiff. Maybe you can play with the big boys a few more years before that mortgage in The Hamptons gives you a 4th ulser. Talk about the definition of not falling through the cracks. Hail to The Schiftiest one!
I love Treat Williams!! I wish the show lots of luck!!
Yes there are a lot of cop shows but that seems to be what the public wants. This one has a good twist since Internal Affairs investigates cops – so hopefully it won’t be the same old bloody, shoot-em up stuff on all the other who-done-its. And if you’re not familiar with Australian actress Rachael Carpani, you’re in for some great work if the writing and directing is good. Her performances in McLeod’s Daughters (hit Aussie TV show 8 years) made her a star and “favorite daughter” down under and showed her full range of talent. The few guest roles she’s had so far in the US (Cane, NCIS Los Angeles and The Glades) haven’t been meaty enough roles to show what she can do. I’m looking forward to this new Lifetime series and can’t wait to see Rachael in this lead role. Treat will be fine as her dad.
Regarding Rachael Carpani’s acting skills, I can’t agree with you more, Chris. She was my favorite of all McLeod’s Daughters. I’ll definitely tune to see her again. It may not seem like an ‘original’ series concept, but she’ll defintely make it her own.
They’ve been shooting a scene behind my loft in Toronto all day today for this show. Haven’t seen anyone. I’ve been a creepy spy all day though.
