EXCLUSIVE: Anthony Hopkins is joining the cast of ’360,’ the Fernando Meirelles-directed drama that stars Rachel Weisz. The Peter Morgan-scripted drama is a series of intersecting storylines that deal with love and infidelity. Morgan wrote the project on spec, and then brought on David Linde, who’ll be exec producer. Andrew Eaton is producing. The financing is being finalized, with Linde and Eaton working with UTA to square funding through a combination of sources including Austrian financiers and BBC Films. Production will begin early next year in Europe. There is no domestic distribution yet.
Hopkins plays a man who, while on a trip to find his missing daughter, connects and develops a romance with a woman on a plane, whose boyfriend had been unfaithful. The film is inspired by Arthur Schnitzler’s Reigen, the play most famously turned into the 1950s film La Ronde.

As Fernando is one of Chris Donnelly’s clients, how is Graham “red corduroys” Taylor not packaging this thing?
Rena Ronson out-maneuvered him and Ari…that’s precious!
Everyone knows Fernando doesn’t even speak to Endeavor since Lesher left, maybe that’s why.
Seems like this type of thing was the raison d’etre of MRC…which is still in existence why exactly?
Read the article. Morgan is repped by UTA. He wrote it on spec.
Eminem is in this too, right? Though I heard he had signed on.
Which explains why Fernando brought Linde in. He has all the juice, yet Endeavor has no fingerprints.
Except the ones Alexis Garcia left at Barbarella during the Rio Film Festival.
