Couldn’t agree more. Watched about half of it and realized they were showing the WHOLE FUCKING MOVIE!! Jeeebus!! I was actually interested in seeing this… however now I feel like I already have. Idiots.

I just saw the entire movie in two minutes. I know the set up, middle and can guess the end. Love the Rock but wouldn’t pay for this when I can see this trailer for free.
Right on. Let’s stick to only watching movies like The Social Network. After all, I had no idea going in that Mark Zuckerberg INVENTED Facebook, and then, like, betrayed his friends along the way. Spoiler alert – they sued him. Knowing all of this beforehand totally would have sucked seeing as how storytelling and execution are completely irrelevant to the filmwatching experience.

Wow, what an amazing concept for a movie! Some bad guys rape/kill/torture someone close to a super badass tough guy, and he get so mad he goes out for revenge! Yeah! Maybe he’ll even kill them all!

The sad thing is someone wanting to spoof an action revenge movie would basically up with the 2 minutes we were just shown.

Originally this was a PG-13 movie but testing must have revealed that 90% of people who pay to see a Rock action flick want to see people getting their heads blown off and blood painting the walls not implied violence. George Tillman must have done some pretty intensive reshoots and digital blood effects to get the to the level it’s at now. Now that it’s not a teen action film I think I’ll see it.
Carla Gugino and Maggie Grace are stunningly beautiful. These incredibly gorgeous women are pure American perfection.

And as others said, the trailer leaves no suspense as to whether or not he accomplishes this done-to-death goal.

I know a little about this movie from the inside. They initially really tried to make it on the cheap. But from the trailer and the stories I heard CBS opened up the spickett a little. What they should have done is cut back on this GOD awful trailer. WAY TO MUCH. I read a number of good critiques about the trailer. All DEAD ON. If you viewed the trailer you have seen the movie so keep your $14.00. But for the sake of the industry go anyway and support our business. Based on the trailer three outstanding production awards should be given out: Casting(besides the Rock)-The Location and Transportation Departments..looks like they did a great job under a lot of pressure. Justin Timberlake was chased to be in this movie…he must be so glad they didnt catch him. But I must say when you read the script you muttered “why make this movie” and now seeing the trailer the obvious answer is ” I don’t know.”
