EXCLUSIVE: With 160 million YouTube views under their belt, style-focused Tennessee sisters Elle Fowler, 22, and Blair Fowler, 17 are setting sights on reality TV.
After fielding multiple offers, the Fowler sisters have signed with Chris Coelen’s Kinetic Content to develop multi-platform programming around their brand with a focus on a reality series. The Fowler sisters took their hobby of sharing makeup and style tips with other young girls online, quickly building a fan base of millions of young women around the world and developing an Oprah Winfrey-type influence among their constituency, with brands and products featured in their videos often selling-out. “We are two young girls from Tennessee about to embark on our dream career path,” Elle and Blair Flower said. “We are beyond excited and couldn’t be in more safe hands than with the Kinetic development team.” Elle and Blair have posted nearly 500 videos on YouTube, offering tips, tricks, tutorials, faves and celebrity interviews.
The sisters have been featured in national news outlets including Good Morning America, Fox News and ABC News with Diane Sawyer.

The bar is sooooo low how can they miss?
It’s official…any idiot, and I mean, ANY idiot can get a show these days just for having, Youtube hits…? Having actual talent is no longer relevant.
blair and elle happen to be very smart, talented people not idiots.
Agreed! I love Elle and Blair.. obviously.. you are the idiot that is ignorant and jealous!
you are an idiot. seriously, who would watch 2 sister putting on makeup as a show? Do people think that would be actual entertainment? Hollywood is DEAD. I’ve lost all hope for humanity. Also, you young, arrogant child, I don’t see how this person’s jealous.
i completly agree, they have no talent!
now, other youtubers such as pixiwoo, and lisa eldridge, Do have talent. but not those idiots!!!
completly agree with you , they don’t have that much talent , piwi2woo or lisa eldridge are way more helpful and less annoying !
It has and always will be about popular demand. It’s never been about talent that TV makes offers towards these things. They will make a show about what people watch, and the 160 Million views on Blair and Elles channel show that this is what people are watching. Elle and Blair are particularly good influences mind you, be glad it’s not Peter Chou guy or Epic Meal Time that is being shoved down the throats of children.
I’ve followed these girls on Youtube for a very, very long time and can’t wait to see them on television! This is a hit in the making!!!!
Are you serious??? They are SO lame!!!! They don’t even hardly know anything about makeup. This is putting a bad name on YT beauty world.
Stfu Im sure they no more than you
Are you serious? Who the hell is going to watch their lame show? Hollywood is gonna eat these girls alive! They have no idea what they are getting into. Just always thinking abt $$$!
Doesn’t YouTube own any content uploaded? Who really owns their YouTube tutorials?
Just like Crystal Pepsi, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, hair bands, and New Kids On The Block, this too shall pass.
We can only hope!
hey sosgemini – new kids on the block will NEVER pass.
ps , good for blair and elle. i follow them on youtube, and they’re kinda cool.
They have NO personalities!
apparently chris forgot to call the networks to see if this idea’s been pitched.
First guest gonna be Lonelygirl15?
There is a ton of information to be found about these girls on http://gurugossip.omgforum.net/allthatglitters21-f12/ They have quite the reputation!
Seriously? These girls are con artists if anything. This is depressing, especially since there are make-up artists and, even more generally, other people on Youtube that are ACTUALLY talented.
wow i am a male i liked some of her video. it help for gift shopping its like having a professional reviewer at your finger tips. keep up the good work youtubers.
i bet they’ll finally talk about their cosmetic surgery. that will bring major ratings.
Lonely who?
haha
(brilliant comment mbob)
I just googled and watched – I am certainly not in their demo, but even if I were, as cute as they may be, I was completely annoyed. blah blah blah blah….
yeah, they’re going to have an empire. they’re already pulling hundreds of thousands I’d guess.
LOL comparing New Kids on The Block to “Elle” and “blair” are you serious?
Thats like comparing Whitney Housten or even Michael Jackson to them. They are no longer around but when they were they made history. Why? THEY HAD TALENT they could sing and dance like nobodys business.
Elle and Blair (which are not even their real names!!!) HAVE NO TALENT if anything they will be the next Tila Tequilla. They gathered some idiots from the internet as fans but once they left the internet got laughed out of hollywood for having NO TALENT.
Does this mean Rick Astley could have a TV show too?
Such a shame that these two will be on tv. One of them is 17 and they have both recently had nosejobs, wear fake hair, use fake first names and don’t do much except for take payments from companies to do product placements and sell things to impressionable young girls on their home shopping channels/their youtube channels.
They never got nose jobs, many people have hair extensions (unless you’re freaking poor like you probably are), they’re not fake names, just nicknames it’s for security, and who cares, it’s not your problem! Who wouldn’t want to get sent free stuff?
Yes they have had nosejobs have you not seen the before and after pics? Blair had 1-2 inches cut off the tip of her nose. Elle had a full on nosejob.
Yes they use fake names. Using a fake first name and a real last name is not for security. Nobody who is worried about security gives their real last name out to the world over the internet
It was to create characters named “Elle and Blair” these are fictional characters that they created to try and put together an act and get famous and oh look it’s working now!
I don’t see what is so wrong with getting a nose job. But I somewhat agree with them being fake characters. Viewers only see a certain side of Elle and Blair. Plus most reality shows are very scripted and fake so I guess we will get to see if they are good at acting.
Oprah and her influence is far more substantial than hawking hair & makeup products online. Referencing her name in context of these is a bit of insult, no?
The article fails to mention how many people hate them. Their only “fans” are 13 year old girls who have no clue what the real world is like. These two are disliked because they are VERY dishonest and fake. I highly doubt they are going to succeed in LA but all the luck to them!
i’m a 13 year old girl and i couldnt care less about these two. not all 13 year olds are obsessed with abercrombie and makeup, yeesh.
stupid damn stereotypes.
i would never watch this show, in a million years.
What are they going to do for vocals?
Or voice lessons. The most important quality for success outside of physical is the voice quality. These two women have extremely whiny thin biting and terse sounding vocals- annoying to listen to. Like models trying to act/sing.
NNNNOOOOOOOO! these girls are so fake, and lie to get paid for products!
they are not only “offering tips, tricks, tutorials, faves and celebrity interviews” but dong paid reviews to the companies pobably sell out because the company paid Elle or Blair for a scripted review I will never watch a show about these scam artist
It makes me sad that people with actually talent on YouTube ie. Petrilude, MissChievous, and even Myeyeshadowisodd are not getting opportunities like this. All these girls do is a brown smokey eye every video and it doesn’t even look good. Personality may have gotten them this show but people will soon see that they don’t have any make-up skills and will be famous for nothing.
hahah the show has nothing to do with makeup. It is a reality show aka famewhores doing what they do best. But you are right they have no talent. They can’t act, sing, dance, model, do makeup, put together fashion. Zilch. Nada. Nuthin’
But most companies only see dollar signs and see that they have already managed to lure in hundreds of thousands of little kids That stuff sells and thats why they got this show. But they have never had talent and now the whole world will be able to see that. How embarrasing.
I would be SOOOOOO offended right now if I was Oprah.
Well then again Oprah has no idea who these fakes are, but still.
Really!? Comparing them to Oprah?! I’m sorry but apparently Nellie Andreeva or whoever wrote this article didn’t do their research on these girls beyond the fake bubble they have created for themselves. These girls are a joke. It’s rather sad that the majority of public already can’t stand them and their reality show hasn’t even started yet.
They do have a large following on youtube of 12 year old girls who have no idea that these 2 have been putting on a fake act the whole time. These 2 girls monitor their comments and image on such a tight leash on youtube they only allow “I love you!!” type comments on their channels so everyone thinks they are so amazing and so well liked. How in the world will they handle the reality when the tabloids start revealing the truth about them and they can no longer monitor the publics comments about them??
I’m sorry but they just keep digging themselves into a bigger hole. They have no idea what reality is because they just block it out and pretend it doesn’t exist by monitoring any feedback they get that doesn’t revolve around how perfect they are. Sorry ladies but you can’t do that in the real world.
I think this is a great idea. Honestly, i don’t care if they get paid. It’s their choice. Who wouldn’t want a TV show???? I will for sure watch!
Most people in their right mind would never go on reality tv.
Maybe the Apprentice or Survivor something that requires skill. Otherwise no, most people would not.
Sure being on an actual tv show as an actress in a role is impressive but reality tv? Not so much.
Ummmm…. Only the money hungry, fame seeking weirdos want a TV show. They are going to be chewed up and spit out of Hollywood in no time. Before long you’ll probably get to watch them on Celeb Rehab. Yay!! Hahaha!
I cannot believe these two were compared to OPRAH…give me a break!!
