CBS is sticking with both of its daytime dramas for the foreseeable future. The network just gave top-rated The Young and the Restless a three-year renewal. Now I hear that it is also close to a deal for a two-year pickup of The Young and the Restless‘ companion The Bold and the Beautiful through the 2012-13 season. Both soaps were created by William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell. The Bold and the Beautiful, which premiered in 1987, is the only half-hour daytime drama on the air.

There is only one thing with B&B it’s only on the air 30min.I never miss it if I’m not home it is always being recorded so I can watch it as often as I want.I even invite my friends over for what I call our B&B lunch twice a month,I hope it’s being taken off the air.Mary from Miss.

Yes, would like to see the soap from the beginning on the Soap network. Get rid of Hope Logan’s character, as she is boring. Please forget about the lesbian scene. I will not allow my teenager to watch this.
I have watched B & B since day 1 and love that it will continue. You can’t continue, though, the constant Steffy always getting in the way of Hope and Liam. Get her with Deacon or something really hot going on with her. Get her out of Liam’s life.
I completely agree. I have watched this show since the beginning and hope it will continue for many more years. I have been disappointed with the show’s story line of having Steffy constantly disrupting Hope & Liam’s relationship. Find Steffy a new interest and let Hope & Liam finally get their happily ever after.
I completely agree as well. I’m so sick of Steffy and Liam. Steffy is annoying. Keep Hope and Liam together. They have been manipulated enough. I just want the truth to come out so Hope and Liam can finally be together.
Steffy is pregant!!! and Liam chose her and now Taylor is making moves on Eric. She is such a hypocrite… Brooke certainly didn’t deserve her attitude! I am so disappointed with the show, I fast-fowarding everyday this week not to have to watch Steffy & Taylor. I am very close to stop watching the show. It is a shame, the writters seem to have it so wrong with aggrevating many long time fans.

I have been afan since day one-Susan Flannery is nothing short of amazing! I have loved her in everything she has done. “Ridge and Brooke are two of the best actors in daytime-they have such chemistry! The writing on the show is excellent also. So glad that Eric and Stephanie are back together-they are the foundation of B +B.
I also have watched “Young and the Restless” and “Bold and Beautiful” from day one. From day one I look forward to watching “Y&R”, and now I don’t watch “B&B” because of the crappy storyline and the actors’ parts. “B&B” used to be looked at as “classy”, now it’s “cheesy.” My friends have stopped watching it also. Clean it up or leave.
B&B is my favorite show. I always tape it so that I don’t miss it. I do miss ATWT – had watcged it from day 1 50 years ago. lease consider making it a 1 hour show.
We love the Bold and the Beautiful for over 10 years. The story line moves faster than on the other soaps. We do enjoy that it is on for just 30 min. We tape it every day so that we don’t miss anything.
Please keep it on for many years.
Bold and Beautiful is the only soap that I watch. I know this is only a soap opera, but, it is filled with unrealistic events.

I know, it’s only a soap, but try to keep it somewhat real. Also, the soap needs more characters. Judging by the poor story lines, The writers are obviously running out of material on the few characters of the show. (Please have Brooke toughen up and get the upper hand on Steffy) I think this would be the number one Soap if it was extended to one hour and maybe fresh writers?
How can Taylor & Ridge get married so soon? there has been no divorce between Taylor & Whip nor between Ridge & Brooke. A divorce in CA takes a year,after lawyers, etc. In Nevada, 6 weeks. A quickie divorce in Mexico takes a day but no one went there.
So what gives???

I have been an avid viewer since both shows have gone on air. I feel you should leave these interrelationships to the celebrities. If these relationships continue, I will not continue to watch the Bold and the Beautiful. Thank You.
This story line of Thomas and Dayzee makes me sick. She belongs with Marcus not Thomas. It is not ok to allow teens to see that it is the norm to have an inter racial relationship. Frindship yes but there needs to be a line. I also do not like how you show $bill about to throw Amber off the outlook. So scary to teach that murder is ok. It is not ok and these 2 story lines need to end.
I agree this is so stupid. Dayzee belongs with Marcus. Also Donna and the lawyer ……….where do you get these ideas? I will stop watching if you keep it up.
It is like the elephant in the living room, no one even mentions that someone is a different race and the problems a relationship might cause. It started with Marcus. It is not realistic…..it is ridiculous.

I love the bold and the beautiful, but these last couple of weeks not so impressed. I’m really not liking the story line, Taylor and steffys behavior is not impressive at all, nobody want to say anything to liam witch is stupid! If that was me I would diffinitly!! Be saying something. Hope and liam belong together also liam is a week man, hope it changes soon really haven’t been watching because of it. Dedicated viewer Shannon.
I’ve been a fan of b&b for as long as I can remember, but I’m so sick of watching this fake crap from steffy, so tired of her and her family act like what she has done to basically trap liam in this marriage is right, and hope should just suck it up and move on “STUPID!!” Still waiting for liam stand up and say what he feels and tell steffy off, and go back to hope., brook and her family seems to be the ONLY ones to tell hope to not give up, glad to see her stand up to ridge. Really hope it turns out the way it should.

The character of Hope is just so saccharine sweet I want to vomit. She portrays a self righteous, entitled clueless woman who thinks her …. doesn’t stink.
With the most recent storyline her self absorption is played to the hilt when she thinks that just because she wants it, Stephie should sign annulment papers. How terrifically cruel can one be.
She needs a big come-uppance.
And Brooke’s character is also more than one can bare.
Nuff said…hope this show will bring the logans down to size soon.
two things , please dont have liam going back to steffy , she is not for him , hope is the one for him , the interacial story lines are good , just make them more realistic, and more entertaining , just the way you do all the other relationships on the show. please dont take the bold and beautiful and the young and restless off, i love both shows ,
Are the writers on vacation? Today’s episode was so boring with the parents having lunch together. Hope and Steffy still at each other while Liam as usual never says a word. What is he a man or a mouse? He should tell Steffy to sign the annulment cause there’s no way he’s going back to her. Steffy says if she signs it means her marriage was’nt real, which it wasn’t. Let’s face it she tricked him into it but stupid Liam just went along with it. Stop telling Steffy he still loves her.
I have been watching B&B forever…I grew up with Brooke, Taylor & Ridge…Love everyone…BUT for the past several months now it has been on a one track road……..I have been thinking they should call it the perils of Hope & Steffy…THAT is ALL the show EVER seems to be about anymore…what happened to everyone else’s lives????

Seriously the writers are terrible. First of al. Taylor the psychiatrist is ok with the way her daughter Steffy tricked Liam into marrying her and again Steffy once again keeping Liam & Hope apart in Cabo. Taylor defends every action that her daughter makes She(Taylor) blames everyone else. Hope needs to get over being a BIG BABY and grow up. Why hasn’t the paparazzi found out about the underhanded tricks that Steffy has pulled on Liam & Hope. If they did Hope’s so called fans would understand the circumstances and lighten up on Hope and JUMP all over Steffy. Already PLEASE PLEASE END this tiresome storyline as it is getting old already.
The bold and Beautiful has become absolutely ridiculous over the years. The same characters, all sleeping with each other, no one has any strength of character. And now this inane, endless story of Hope losing her virginity in which all her parents and relatives endlessly discuss it, and now she has this breakdown and taking drugs. The same story-just like Ridge going back and forth between Brooke and Taylor. No one actually earns a degree and works their way up the ladder, no they are just all magically talented. And big mamma Stephanie, she has pulled all these hatefull things, yet it is always overlooked and she is loved even by Brooke. Have any of the writers ever watched the Gilmore Girls?
That was filled with interesting characters, intelligent and witty conversation and gee whiz, they were not all climbing in and out of bed with each other with incestuous overtones. I can’t understand why the writers look for the lowest denomination and banal plots, week after week.

I just started watching bold & beautiful after years of working. I was so disappointed when I watch it today and they had two woman kissing. I will not be watching it again.
I am so tired of all the interference with Hope & Liam. Even tho they finally got married you writers continue to through a curve into their relationship now today by implying that Liam & Steffy done it on Hope & Liam’s wedding day. Have Liam tell Hope he almost got back with Steffy but now knows that would have been a big mistake. Can’t you letting anything go right for those two???? Let them live happily ever after & move on. There are plenty of story lines in that show to build on. And PLEASE don’t go back to Ridge, Brooke & Taylor 3 some. OMG that story line had been beaten to death! I just can’t watch anymore if this continues.
Please spice up the script!Really, the character of Bill being nice? Spare me.Don’t give the character Brooke everything she wants. Now that Katie is pregnant let the doctors diagnose her with high blood pressure where she has to be bedridden hence the fact no sex. Go back a few episodes where Bill was fantasizing about Brooke out to dinner with Katie and Ridge. If Katie is bedridden Brooke will have to see her more often so she will run into Bill. Get the affair started! Prom Queen needs to get back on the pills! Stephanie and Liam need to have an affair! Taylor needs to walk in on Brooke and Bill! You people have such great actors! Use their talent! Work them! Keep the gay couple. Do I need to come to LA? Please this is 20 minutes where I can actually relax and float into a fantasy! Then of course come back to reality! Please make my day!
