Elizabeth Banks will star alongside Chris Pine in the DreamWorks pic W
elcome to People, the directorial debut of Star Trek and Transformers co-writer Alex Kurtzman. Pine plays a guy charged with delivering $150,000 of his dead father’s fortune to a sister he’s never met. Banks opens opposite Russell Crowe and Liam Neeson in the Paul Haggis-directed The Next Three Days. Aside from her recurring role on 30 Rock, she’s also filming Man On A Ledge, the Asger Leth-directed drama opposite Sam Worthington and Jamie Bell.

Congrats to Elizabeth Banks and try to avoid Hilary Swank, she tried to get this part, too. Nonetheless, she was great in Conviction, hopefully she will get an Oscar nod.
So I’m guessing Rachel McAdams turned this down too?
Delivering money to someone you don’t know… cause that happens every day… in the movies.
Love Elizabeth Banks.
People say they can’t tell her or McAdams apart but while they look like they could be sisters, they totally don’t look like twins. Banks has done well and is great at comedy. I like her on “30 Rock” but don’t know how her story will play out now that they are obviously shipping a “Jack” and “Liz” pairing. But I like how she isn’t a snob about television.
banks is amazing – she gets the best jobs – we wish her well
i cant wait for the next three days – swank wanted that as well
maggie, jessica, hillary, bryce, and emily all wanted it
elizabeth banks gets the best jobs – im obsessed with her !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
two oscar nominees fighting for this job and Elizabeth Banks walks away with it – at last hollywood does something original – it really is a great thing instead of using the same folks over and over again – this girl is a total winner im my book – we just love her
Hey maybe Elizabeth is the hotter chick. I love ‘em when they’re fresh, but I just saw the Batman three lineup of chickens and they are starting to get a little stale (except Naomi Watts, I luuuv her). Hollywood and the industry has a way of spoiling the talent without letting leave an impression in the entertainment culture.
I love these kinds of movies!
