EXCLUSIVE: TV producer/executive Jonathan Berry has joined 3 Arts Entertainment as a manager and producer based out of the company’s Los Angeles office. “Jon is excellent at identifying talent and developing material, and we feel he’ll be just as strong advancing careers,” said partner David Miner who has known Berry for awhile. Berry spent ten years at DreamWorks Television working on such series such as Spin City, Father of the Pride and Oliver Beene. For the past 2 years, he ran television for Bob Yari, developing shows for network and cable. He will continue to do so at 3 Arts where he will focus on the TV lit side. Berry said that, as an executive and producer, he always enjoyed working with writers. “In the back of my mind, I have always had a desire to work in management so I could work more closely with these talented individuals and be involved in their careers long-term,” he said, adding that, when he did make the decision to transition, 3 Arts was his “first choice of a home.”

Jonathan is a really solid, smart guy. Good to see him move to a place where he will be acknowledged.
JB was always an exec who gave smart notes and works his butt off… will be an asset to 3 Arts and all clients…
Great hire – that guy knows the business better than anyone… great person, great exec.
Berry is a stand-up guy, a great asset to 3 Arts, and never with a full applebag.
JBerry really knows this business and will bring a passion and drive to 3arts and his clients that will be amazing. Have known him for a long time, nothing but respect and love, great guy. Good for him and can’t wait to see what comes of this.
Never with a full applebag?

He’s a genius! Amazing! Just an incredible guy! He will add to the greatness that is already 3 Arts. The brilliance and genius is just incredibly amazing. Oh my, they will reinvent the planet. Life as we know it just changed. This is a a shift of the paradigm. Of the world.
Thank you.
Cograts Mr. Berry for having all of your friends post nice things.
Ok, it might look like that. But I’ve developed with Berry twice, with mad results. He’s awesome.
And congrats to you Kat, for having none.
Does anyone have anything real to say about Berry. I feel like these comments were bullshit.
Berry is smart, cool, and funny. So, of course, he shouldn’t be an TV executive. Great move. 3Arts is lucky to have him.
He is a super smart exec and will make a great manager.
jonathan is hardworking and truly one of the most charming people i’ve had the chance to work with. congrats!
Based on all these “brilliant” and “smart” comments you’d think Berry would have more to show for his two years with Yari than he actually does, which is NOTHING.
Well, he certainly deserves big congrats for crawling out of the black hole that surrounds BY.
If you’re looking for dirt on JB you won’t find any.
I wish I could clone him ans replace every lyin, dim-witted, son of a famous guy in this town.
GO JB!
I love when people post positive comments – people think it must be them or their friends. But when it is all negative comments – it obviously must be the truth.
jb is a solid guy. but look at his credits. none really. spin city was not his. father of the pride (failure), oliver beene (huh?).
10 years at dworks + a few at yari = nada.
