USA Network’s Burn Notice and A&E’s The Glades already have a lot in common – the same Florida locale and blue-sky feel, the same light tone and quirky characters led by a handsome leading man and the same producing studio, Fox TV Studios. Now the two shows also share a tagline. The upcoming season of Burn Notice has been being promoted with the slogan: Sunny with a Chance of Espionage, not to be confused with The Glades’ tagline for its first season, Sunny with a Chance of Homicide. It is sunny in Florida… UPDATE: After discovering the coincidence, USA took down the “sunny” Burn Notice ads, which had only run online.

It’s not the same tagline if one word is different.
But Disney Channel’s SONNY WITH A CHANCE should sue.
The Glades recently renewed from its second season lead by an Australian actor Passmore, not to confuse I think though they have the same storyline about homicide stories.
Not to be confused with the USA Psych episode, “Sunny with a chance of murder.”
Nevermind, that was “CLOUDY with a chance of murder.” But you get the idea. They’re all different enough…
‘Sunny With a Chance…’ sounds like the new and improved tag, ‘Cure for the Common…’
Life imitating art? Mad Men had a very similar plot line this season where Don accidentally stole a catch phrase from an extremely unqualified job applicant.
marketing fail. i guess they are too lazy to come up with original tag lines .
Wow, both taglines should be changed, not just one of them, because not only are they awfully similar, they’re also awfully awful.
They also now share Kiele Sanchez, who is in The Fall of Sam Axe.
