Tarsem Singh will direct Snow White, it was announced on Monday. The film begins production in March. Singh is currently in post-production on The Immortals which opens November 11 from Universal.

I’m in. The Fall is one of the most overlooked works of beauty and genius in decades. It’s not perfect, but it is millions of times more thoughtful and interesting than the vast majority of filmed product.

Universal’s Snow White and the Huntsman is WAY better than this version but it’s still fun to see studios race on big budget movies based on the same source material. Whoever releases first usually wins.
Actually this statement is not true. Deep Impact came out before Armageddon – and Armageddon grossed $400M more worldwide.
Hopefully this one hits before that inept Snow White/Huntsman one. God that script sucked.

Both The Fall and The Cell are interesting to look at, but need to be hung on walls. They are not MOVIES–dull, staid, unintelligible, and disrespectful to audiences. Did I say dull? Yes. They make travesties like moulin rouge and city of lost children seem almost interesting.
When will this guy learn to tell a story?
Did you actually SEE The Fall? The story was brilliant, original, heart warming, and at times even funny. And it was all dressed up with stunning visuals and visionary artistry. You’re insane if you thought The Fall was just an art show and not a great little story of humanity.

There isn’t a trailer for Immortals yet, the movie isn’t set for release until November 11th, 2011.
