• Oh wow. That was awful, and by that, I mean that the 3-disc Blu-ray of Avatar just happens to come out this week, so The Simpsons conveniently bite one hand of the Fox Media machine, then do something wildly inappropriate (and illegal in most states) with the other. I’m on to you, Rupert.

• Fox News is also #1 with toothless rightwing morons who have nothing better to do with their lives than spending 5 hours a day glued to the boob-tube soaking up lies and propaganda packaged into glitzy soundbites and sold as “news.” Obama’s first order of business as president should have been to ban Faux from the White House press briefing room and all other federal agencies on the grounds that they are not a legitimate news organization at all but merely the media arm of the Republican Party. This was confirmed by Bush spokesperson Scott McClellan, who admitted that they regularly fed Fox News talking points which were then aired as news. This is what’s known as state-run media, folks. The Soviets had a similar set-up. Boycott Fox News sponsors.

• Who cares? Look at South Park and Family Guy, they do some of the most vulgar and wildly-explicit things. The part with the various media empires was hilarious. In the sense that is basically what they are like, granted they are not making out with one another. They are always thinking of ways to get the public to pay attention to them and do screw each other over. The Simpsons has always made jokes about FOX news and their “quality.” They aren’t the only ones though, FOX’s other cartoon sitcoms and many other shows, comedians, politicians, and celebrities and more make fun of FOX news. FOX News is trash and they don’t even report any real news. They covered a story of a deranged 18 year old girl who wanted to put a 14 year old boy in a skimpy dress for senior prom and considers that news.
  The Simpsons is still the best show in that line up and has been picked up for season 23. Making it the longest-running tv show in history, longer than Law & Order & Gunsmoke.

• I liked this. Those yellow people still have some teeth. The fake disease stuff is accurate and not that funny actually, more eerie.
