EXCLUSIVE: After more than three decades, former Mary Tyler Moore Show sparring partners Mary Tyler Moore and Betty White are about to go another round. Moore has been tapped to guest star in the Jan. 19 second-season
premiere of White’s TV Land sitcom Hot in Cleveland. Details on Moore’s role are being kept under wraps, but a Cleveland source hints that she will be involved in the story line that saw White’s caretaker character Elka get arrested in the season 1 finale. (Maybe she’ll be the judge presiding over her case?) This will mark the first time the comedy legends have appeared on screen together in 33 years. Cleveland – which averaged a record-shattering 4.7 million cume total viewers in its first season – was renewed in July for a 20-episode second season. Stay tuned for details about Ausiello’s new TV-centric website, set to launch in early 2011.

Ausiello, welcome to Deadline!!!! Great to have you here.
That said, great casting news.
Welcome Ausiello! Now I don’t have to juggle between EW and Deadline; feels great to now get all the BEST news of the biz from one place!
Thank goodness your still around…. Your scoops on TV get me through the day!
This is a GREAT way to take your scoops to a new site! I can’t wait to see Mar’ and Betty together again!
Best of luck, Michael! You’re gonna make it after all!
You can’t have a better first scoop to post at Deadline other than Mary Tyler Moore and Betty White reuniting on screen! Welcome Ausiello!
While I’ve been extremely excited for the season premiere of “Hot In Cleveland”, this new puts it over the top!
Ausiello, I’ve followed you from TV Guide to EW and now here. Nice scoop for what appears to be your first Deadline post! Welcome!
Suzanne Martin deserves all the credit for this. She is brilliant and this is her creation. Love Hot in Cleveland! Carl Reiner, Betty White… I want her to write a part for Don Rickles. Seriously. This show is a blast.
Hi Ausiello, Glad to read from you again
Waiting for more scoops from you especially the ones about my favorite shows : Brothers & Sisters, Desperate Howsewives and Grey’s Anatomy. Thank you
Glad to see you posting again. I’ve just got one question that I’m unsure of, will EW still keep your old stuff up on their site now or not?
