EXCLUSIVE: Glee star Cory Monteith is at the center of a pitch deal that just went down at Fox 2000. The untitled project, described as a “workplace” comedy. Monteith is attached to star and produce with Bruce Nash and Robert Kosberg. The idea came from Michael Herbert, an intern at Nash Entertainment. Monteith, who plays Finn Hudson on the hit series, just wrapped the Fox 2000 Tom Bezucha-directed Monte Carlo, starring alongside Leighton Meester and Selena Gomez. Obviously, Fox 2000 chief Elizabeth Gabler liked what she saw. Monteith is repped by APA and Red Management.
Nash Entertainment also is developing Girl Most Wanted with Fox 2000 and Spyglass as a vehicle for Katherine Heigl to star and produce.

I don’t see why anyone would write nasty comments hasn’t anyone ever taught you if you don’t have anything good to say don’t say anything at all. So unnecessary! I think Cory is very underestimated as an actor and I agree without him Glee would not be what it is today! I have never met him but he seems to be a really great guy so I wish him the best. Movie or TV I will be tuning in to support!

Wonderful for Cory, a guy who took a little and made a lot! Kind, down to earth, sexy, good actor, learned to sing for GLEE made clumsy dancing hip.. took that opportunity and ran with it. Honest, sweet and grateful! Do your thing, Cory..Do Your Thing!!!
Cory Monteith is not only incredibly attractive, but the way he plays Finn on Glee, as a clumsy, awkward teenager who stumbles upon his own talent is brilliant. Kids can relate, adults want to; it’s a brilliant character and he is perfect for the part. Can’t wait to see him in other roles as well, though I hope Glee continues for a long, long time.
So he won’t be on glee anymore omg! Im going to freak out why? I love glee and I cant live without them cory if you leave glee i’ll never watch it again go glee . Have any of you guys seen cory ? I love u!
Still mediocre & over-rated w annoying fanbase of tweeners obsessed w his carefully made up look. Muphy had it correct- graduate the old guy portraying a teenm Creepy!
The negative comments are born of jealousy or misinformation.. if you’ve seen any Finn-heavy episodes of Glee, you’d know that Cory is, in fact, a tremendously talented, hard-working, and terribly underrated actor. Those commenting on his singing and dancing.. he won’t even be doing that in this movie, so what importance does that bear in this forum? If you dislike him, if you think he’s “overrated” .. just leave. Why would you go out of your way to leave a negative comment?
