I just heard that Twentieth Century Fox is moving Gulliver’s Travels back three days to Christmas Day to get away from some of the other 3D movies and be the big film actually on Christmas Day. Plus it gives the studio time to advertise more.
Editor-in-Chief Nikki Finke - tip her here.

Why bother? It’s going to bomb, and looks completely terrible anyways.
this looks horrible.
rearrange the chairs on the Titanic but this thing is still going down hard and fast
Fear of Fockers?
Gullivers was dated same date as Little Fockers, which is tracking way better than Gullivers, better than Tron, better than Narnia, and even ahead of where Meet the Fockers was this far out.
And nothing of value was lost…
I love a nice christmas turkey. Especially one that cost $200 million. Delish!
Gulliver’s Travels will bomb no matter what date it comes out. Seldom have I actually been hostile to what I think is supposed to be a comedy. I can’t be the only one. The whole project feels patronizing.
This sounds great. But are they sure that they will be the big film in Christmas Day? How they can be so sure of that?
They should have released this at Thanksgiving…….’cause it’s gonna be a turkey.
This movie is the very definition of D.O.A. Rupey Murdoch needs to do some serious exec shuffling. This was just a flat out terrible year for Fox.
How about pushing it back to Presidents’ Day in mid-February (February 18th)??
In most of the country, K-12 schools will be closed that week (February 21st-25th), which could help the box office in the days after opening weekend.
Is there any movie this year that isn’t a remake of a remake
