Made me laugh!
I am actually looking forward to this – the prospect of The Rock vs Vin Diesel plus the reunion of Walker & Tyrese with their goofy, dopey yet fun charm is cool.
The weak link for me is Justin Lin haven’t enjoyed the last two F&F movies. Would be better if Rob Cohen returned (wouldn’t have thought I’d ever said that about him!!)

Ugh, ANOTHER ONE. And they don’t even have the original cast now since Rodriguez was killed off? Big mistake. Seems pretty run of the mill to me. And it’s all action. Does it even have a story line? And at what point will Vin Diesel stop trying to act like he’s a super cool, super athletic 25 year old? Because, yeah, he’s NOT. Either.

Are you serious? They have Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Ludacris from part 2, and Sung Kang from part 3, and not having Michelle Rodriguez, whose character was killed, means they don’t have the original cast? Really? Did Pirates of the Caribbean 2 not have the original cast because Geoffrey Rush was killed in the first one? You can find things to pick on in these movies, but this isn’t one of them.

1. Vin may not be 25, but he’s pretty cool. You’d sleep with him and you know it.
2. Nobody cares about Michelle Rodriguez. NOBODY. Ok, let’s say one person did…..they’ve not only united the casts from all four movies, they’ve added The Rock!!! Michelle who?
3. It’s not all action. I heard some taking in there. Hopefully, they’ll cut most of it out and gimme ALL action.

Well based on a viewing I went to of Battle: LA, some people *do* care about Michelle Rodriguez because there was wild cheering when she came on the screen. There is a reason she’s the only one of the original cast that still has (somewhat of) a career.
I like the part where Vin says “Disappear forever”.

Yes! Chris Morgan comes up with more cool shit than almost any screenwriter working in action today. BOOM!

This will be huge (again). People love Vin Diesel (he has over 19.5 million fans on facebook, that’s absurd) and the formula of cars, action, and good looking people will always work.
They can call the next one “The Fast and Sixulous.”

Ugh. Can’t wait for the day when Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson stop making movies. This looks ridiculous.

bunch of haters/critics who over analyze movies. I don’t care what people say. The FF series will still be one of my favorites. And regarding MR, who cares. They have Tyrese. He was funny as hell in the 2nd one.

They should have called this The Fast Vs The Furious

I thought the first movie was good. The second one was terrible. I didn’t see the third one. The fourth one wasn’t good. After viewing the trailer, the fifth one looks like it might be the best one of the series. Obviously, a good trailer doesn’t always mean the movie will be good, but we’ll see.

More real stuff this time and less CG at last. FF movies were full of CG. Now they do it Bourne style. Count me in.

Paul Walker looks back at the explosion going off over his shoulder. I guess someone was paying attention when Lonely Island and Will Ferrell took aim at that cliche in their funny “Cool Guys Don’t Look At Explosions” video. It’s on You Tube.

that is Vin Diesel and he’s looking back at The Rock jumping out of the window smartass.

Wasn’t trying to be a smart ass and the Vin one (which happens earlier in the trailer) is not in reaction to an explosion, though I did notice it too. I’m talking about when Paul Walker jumps from the train onto the car and then actually looks back at the explosion. I think it actually shows that the filmmakers were actively trying to put the cliche to bed. So there you go. I’m not a snarky combox chump who writes, “meh.”

the first film was great. the last film was better than 2. but this one looks boring.
and why is it that when bringing brazil or any latin american country into the mix in a film, it has to be about drugs?

Looks like someone took all the actors out of the freezer: Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, Jordana Brewster.

This movie is about a fun time and cool cars. It’s not about “the script” I HATE it when people don’t understand the intention or audience of a film. ‘Eff an oscar, this is not what this movie is for. It serves it’s purpose–as will Transformers 3, Pirates 4, etc. Next movie will be a good FUN movie year.

Wheeeeee, killing cops doing their duty to protect their fellow citizens is FUN!
These films are abominable. Both quality-wise and morally.

Awesome! Anyone who does not think these movies are a blast is out of touch. This looks like the best of the series so far. Cannot wait!
Yay! I love these fast car movies and anyone who doesn’t sucks.
