And in Deadline’s shameless plug for Justin Bieber tweener traffic… Paramount Pictures is doing a slow build toward the February release of Never Say Never, that feature film which is Bieber’s biopic. This clip shows how Bieber learned to play the drums. Looks like the lessons paid off.

why, why, why, why, oh my fucking god in heaven, why?!?
Why is it 99% of you people on this site hate on everyone else? Get over it!! Sorry your script didn’t sell or your indie flick about a lonely guy in new york trying to find love in central park, but NEWS FlASH…… wait for it…. Nobody want to see your bullshit! Guess what…. the industry has changed and yes people its actually cool to make money on films! Thank god you dirty ass film school dropouts with your “I’m not conforming to society” ideology can finally stop wasting investors money with your films no one wants to see! Go put ‘em Sundance Festival along with all the other films accepted there that guess what…. wait for it… won’t make their money back either! So quick being a hater, your obviously a has been or a never will be and quit taking valuable air space for those of us that actually have talent. And no… I wouldn’t see this film either but I’m happy has hell that the investment will be returned.
Justin Beiber fan are you? I think that comment was more about how Justin Beiber, who has know knowledge of the film industry or schooling, or even passion for it, can seemingly gain popularity and greenlit a movie with a his pinky finger. The real directors and writers, who strive to put out substance will suffer, and you’re right they won’t make money back, and that’s a shame, even though it shouldn’t be about the money.
How can you say its not about money? Those are people’s savings that are being burned up. The problem is that people think that the art is greater than the return. That’s idiotic. People are lied to to invest in BS films that have no chance to make money. Its fraud!
best post in a long time,il probably see this movie purely because of this kid’s talent and encouragement from his parents/friends from a early age-good trailer
I adore your post!!!! I wish some of the A$$clowns on here realized that not every movie is made for them.
David Cassidy. Bobby Sherman. Leif Garrett. My advice to Mr. Bieber: hire a very good investment manager. Your 15 minutes could end at any time. It’s all about being at the right place at the right time and having, as Malcolm Gladwell would say, 10,000 hours or 10 years of practice. Bieber’s achieved that. There are many others with talent like his that will go unnoticed, but he’s the one that did get noticed. Enjoy and save!
Omg I can’t wait till justins movie comes outtttttttttt!!!!!!
SERIOUSLY??? A biopic for a teenager? The epitome of INANE.
Justin Bieber is definitely a talented kid, but shouldn’t he have some kind of bio first in order to have a biopic!?
i’m no fan of his music, but the kid does have “talent”. and at the very least, he’s a symbol for how an everyday person can be discovered on the internet and turn into a mega star. he’s part of our changing world, for better or worse.
say what you want about the kid, i dont like his voice or his music. but that kid has natural ability, if you see any of his old home made videos you can just see it.
if he lasts through the poppy bubble gum years in all aspects of that sentence he has the possibility to be amazing. To have any type of musical rhythm when you are like 2 years old is just phenomenal
I do not listen to his music but I have to say if you are a parent and want your kid to have a role model here ya go. I love this kid came from nothing, his parents encouraged him and he is now doing what he loves. Yes, this kid was in the right place at the right time but remember luck is when opportunity meets preparation.
And for all the people that want to say negative things towards this kid I feel sorry for you. In a world where kids can be distracted and go down a wrong path why wouldn’t we want our younger generation to strive for what he did. We all deserve greatness!
I am looking forward to watching his story:)
I think it’s a good thing they’re making this film, it’ll at least shut up some about his talent. This kid is talented, motivated and extremely nice and has his feet firmly on the ground. It’s funny how majority of people are complaining about the lack of good role models for kids, yet are the first ones to slam down every decent good kid making it in the entertainment industry. Why? Because it’s so fcuking “cool” to do so.
Cool. Too bad he gets off the drum kit and sings…not that I blame him for that.
So it’s an E! True Hollywood Story in 3D? Are all the neighbors gonna be in 3D? Will they at least swoop in and out like Count Floyd used to on SCTV?
The ludicrousness of it all. It should make a fortune.
Leave It To Beiber.
I’d be proud to have a son as accomplished as that. Good for him.
I’ve been on the fence about this film because I only want to see the part with Miley in it, which is just one song. Still, this trailer actually made the film seem like it could be interesting for people who have never really paid attention to what Justin is all about. Plus there will be other guests, and it will be in 3D from a director who likes to show off 3D effects. I think I will go.
omg justin bieber i love u !!
The kid is talented and the movie will make a shitload of money.
Will he at least know what German is when this hits theaters?
It will make money but that is about it…Nothing wrong with that…Maybe he will turn into the next Donnie Wahlberg. Boy Band Mega Star that goes away and quietly amasses a mediocre film resume.
I love jbieber he is cute, sweet ,nice funny and hot sexy and he has a 6 pack thats sexy ,hot I cant wait to see ur movie never say never part B love u
