I hate to disappoint all you Hollywood types— but there is absolutely NO historical evidence that Hoover was a homosexual or that Tolson was his “secret lover” as wrongly asserted in the article.
I realize that facts matter little these days in our lewder, cruder, ruder dumbed down country but there are still those of us around who insist upon journalistic accuracy. Stupid me.

You can’t make a Hoover biopic without any mention of his crossdressing or his sexuality, even if it is only light or subtle overtones. It’s not PC, it’s a part of Hoover’s history and to deny it is to pretend otherwise.
