• An Open Letter to Gossip Girl

  Good writing. Plays like a Victorian novel sometimes.

  Leave Vanessa and Jenny off the show for good.

  How many times can we watch Dan Serena, Chuck Blair break up and make up?

  Bring on two more mainstays, one girl one guy that can rip apart everyone and flip the script on this show.

  There’s still a lot of young twenties Upper East Sider fodder to explore but its time to throw in some cats with the pigeons. Mix it up with the core five. Its getting too self referential, etc.

  No one wants to see Serena go straight or Blair be nice. What about a new family? its so incestuous. Everything. Always someone from the past etc. What about someone completely new?

  An old WASP clan that’s been hiding out in Palm Beach or Maine…. OR Aunt Carol’s married a Jewish man in Miami and he has a son and daughter that move to the upper east side. Movies have so many hot ass jews (Portman, Kunis, Franco). What about some on tv?

  Bring on GOSSIP GIRL version 2. we’re ready.

• I concur with D.Cali, although I’d also like Lily and Rufus’s son, Scott, to reappear. What, they just “forgot” about him?

  Nice move, having Lily turn evil. Rufus needs something to do.

  And please, less Chuck and Blair…they’re intolerable.

  But yeah, some fresh blood and shocking! storylines would be welcome.

• Yes this show needs a total overhaul

  Thank god this means the racoon Taylor Momsen is gone.
  Maybe she can take the rest of the boring Brooklyn crowd with her
  Get rid of Douchebag Dan, V and Rufus too.

  Keep the hot UES kids Chuck, Blair, Nate and Serena and add some fresh hot blood.

• I disagree that the show needs new blood. They don’t go into SLs that will freshen and give layers the existing characters. It is full of guest stars right now. Instead they need to use the existing ones to the full potential.

  When was the last time the main characters had original storylines? By original I mean something we haven’t seen them deal with yet. It’s the same plot, different people each season. They keep bringing guest stars who eat screentime.

  Give Blair a storyline that is not about rulling a UNIVERSITY for god’s sake and something not related to Chuck Bass. She is too good of a material to be wasted. Before this show got a mess she was a character that mattered and now she is just a comedic sidekick while Serena and Chuck get all the storylines that are soapy and repetitive.
