Storage Unit auctions is turning to be the hottest new area in reality television. On the heels of Spike renewing its freshman Auction Hunters with a 20-episode order, the largest ever for a second season on the network, A&E’s Storage Wars, executive produced by Thom Beers, posted the network’s best premiere numbers for an unscripted series this year. The series averaged 2 million viewers for its hourlong premiere last night, 1.2 million of them in the adults 18-49 demographic. (Auction Hunters debuted earlier this month with 1.1 million total viewers.)

I love Brandi and Jarrod! They are obviously the fav’s! Keep this show going because it is Great! LOVE IT! You go guys!
If this thing got a lot of viewers for the first episode maybe that was just for the novelty of the show,-not because this will stay interesting for 20 episodes.
check the math because it’s not 2 million viewers it hit 1.2 million. i read elsewhere that this show got 1.2 million at some point thanks to a new episode of Dog the Bounty Hunter as a lead in. still this does not equal 2 million unless you are adding the 2 shows together for some reason? anyways it will be interesting to see if A & E sticks by this show with those real numbers.
I’ve been watching Auction Hunters on Spike TV and I am really impressed with these two guys. Except for the fact that they sold the vintage Coke machine for $2,500.00!!!! Boy, that guy got it CHEAP! I’d love to see them get higher prices. But from what I’ve seen, these 2 work hard for their money and I can totally understand them taking a little less to just turn it over and keep on bidding at the auctions. They have a lot of self control as I’ve seen how much they like certain things but they are all about the business and it’s a job and that’s where you make the bucks. I’m really impressed with these guys and the show in general. It’s a well put together show, and their personalities are stellar for this type of work and this type of show. I would LOVE to go with them out on some auctions. But I’d probably bid em out and that wouldn’t be nice.
Keep on bidding…….you’re doing a great job……and you’re entertaining too!
