Here is a full-length promo for CBS’ new dance competition reality series Live to Dance, which premieres Jan. 4. The series features former American Idol judge Paula Abdul as a judge and executive producer and, judging by the promo, the show is all about Paula who is seen dispensing her trademark inspirational encouragements to contestants and doing her famous seal clap. Later in its run, Live to Dance will face Idol‘s audition shows.

tic.. tic.. tic.. that’s the sound of the talent competition format’s demise. The pie is being cut into so many pieces that the audiences will be as fragmented as the talent.
YAWN, just keep the camera on Paula’s old drunk sexy self, and maybe this show will have a chance, other than that; I give this one season at most.
Great now we can see her being a dummy again
I’m actually looking forward to this show.
Wow this set looks really cheap. It’s in a tent?
really…really…really now? Hmmm
She needs Simon by her side.
Who turns down millions a year to make a million a year. Totally Nuts!
Anybody remember that Coke commercial she did way back when, God I loved that commercial !
I cannot begin to express how little (is there less than zero?) I care about this show or this pathetic “host.” She offers nothing (less than zero) of substance from her piehole, and the dance format has been so exploited, this is nothing but a cheap bandwagon imitation.
Please, American viewers: Wise up, and send the message to networks that we are DONE with this reality/competition crap. Give us back quality scripted shows. The power rests in the hands of the viewer.
God bless her… there she is,propped up in her benzo- induced haze. Though it looks like they got a few good soundbytes out of her at the beginning of the night, while she was still coherent. Uhh… does anyone else remember the last time Paula had her own show…? Didn’t go so well… jus sayin. This wanna be ABDC with elderly people may or may not work– on CBS? I wish her the best. CBS will still give it another season because they put so much into it and her… but I predict the nursing home set to tire of it quickly.
