Bravo has ordered four new stand-up comedy specials with Kathy Griffin, the most in a single year for the comedian and star-executive producer of the network’s Emmy-winning reality series Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D List. Since 2005, Griffin has done 8 comedy specials for Bravo, most recently Kathy Griffin: Whores on Crutches. The new one-hour specials will air quarterly in 2011. “I went to Bravo and told them I thought I was being a little too nice in my stand up specials. They agreed… and gave me four more. Let the fur fly,” said Griffin. Following the sixth season of D List over the summer, Griffin said she didn’t want to continue with the docu series. To keep her presence on Bravo, the network decided to expand her portfolio of specials.

Hey, KG is harmless fun. I admire anyone who has the balls to call people out for their shit. Whether you agree with her or not, I admire her for being brave, and still surviving in what is a male dominated industry. I hope to see more Female Comics kicking ass in 2011.

I love the fact that Kathy will do 4 specials but I am really sad that she is ending her life on the D list Show. I live for that show to come back on every year. I never knew much about Kathy before but since her show I just love her and her mom Maggie too.
She will be so very missed by me and many of my friends on a weekly basis. Can you get her to do more than four specials, maybe one each month? I really need my KG fix. I am also one of her Gays (Lesbian that is) and I love her wonderful support of us.

No really lunch or dinner will be fine with me just name the time and place. lol, however it would be hard for me to go to hollywood with working 6 days a week and all.
