• Romanek is a genius. A shame the turmoil he went through on The Wolfman. Here’s hoping he gets a tentpole picture. He’d be awesome for the comic book Edge of the Unknown.

• Hope this means we’ll see a lot more feature work. Never Let Me Go was the best movie of last year by a long chalk – brilliantly realised and unbearably moving. Why it’s not nominations-laden already is the great mystery of this awards season. All that and he looks like Kubrick.

    Never Let Me Go was the biggest piece of garbage I saw all last year. Migraine inducing, 2 hours of inappropriate laughter at wooden performances from so-called talented youthful actors – HA.

    Romanek should stick to music videos – this guy couldn’t direct his way out of a paper bag.

  We have to look at the big picture. Chris Donnelly repped Romanek, GONE where CAA. Donelly and Ari repped Deniro GONE, back to CAA. Donnelly repped Innaratu(check spell) GONE wehre CAA.

  Not Donnelly, but Spitz Todd Field GONE where CAA. Meghan Silverman Shia Lebouf most his career she repped him GONE where CAA. Venit repped Ashton Kutcher GONE, where CAA.

  Now just a few days later Romanek, one of the Hottest Directors on the rise!!!! GONE, where CAA, anybody seeing a trend here or is it justme.

  WME will fight back and sign a washed up Geezer director or actor and lie to themselves that they are competing. Yeah we signed Adrian Lyne, who left after 3 minutes. Wow we got Barbara Streisand. Love her but Snore…………

  CAA is building the future. The next 20 years are at stake. There was not enough room for 5 major agencies, hence the merger of WMA and Endeavor. Well guess what there isnt enough room for 4 either. Look for another merger or implosion in the next few years.

  Anybody read the front page of the LA times, DVD’s down, Ticket Sales Down, CD’s down, Concert tickets down.

  This means CAA is doing what it needs to do. Corral all the A Listers. 100 percent market share is there motto. Seems like it is starting to come true.

  How long will Ari and Company hang on to Denzel now that Ed has passed. Denzel has every right to leave if he feels like it. I am sure that he is a major target.

  This is not the end of WME, but it is the beginning of the end. Oh yeah they are #1 in TV, who gives a S%#T. The stars dont. CAA isnt that far behind anyway, all they need to do is grab one or 2 or the seven mojo WME packaging agents. And WME will be #2 in TV.

  It is about the Stars, always has been always will be. So lets call out WME and Ari and say how are you going to respond. You have taken it in the shorts twice in January. 2011 isnt looking up?

  Are you going to compete or concede!! Why cant WME ever sign a CAA star at their Zenith. I have never seen it happen. WME was hemming and hawing about getting Spielberg TV. Yeah big woop. Get Spielberg’s features WME. Get Brad Pitt, Get Angelina.

  Not going to happen, what will happen is another CAA B#tch Slap to WME’s Face. Good Luck. The 45 year old war continues…
